Kent Eye Clinic provides exceptional, patient-centered care. During my recent appointment, my doctor discussed possible very early macular changes with clarity and reassurance. Rather than rushing to a diagnosis, he recommended a proactive plan with targeted vitamins and scheduled follow-up monitoring in six months. I greatly appreciate the thoughtful, measured approach and the time taken to explain everything clearly. The entire staff is courteous, professional, and compassionate. I feel confident and well cared for every visit.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of empathy and professionalism at Kent Eye Clinic. My boyfriend and I were both experiencing severe flu-like symptoms with dangerously high fevers. He called ahead to responsibly notify the office that he was ill and could not attend his appointment. Instead of showing any concern or understanding, the staff immediately focused on collecting a $39 cancellation fee. It's alarming that a medical office would prioritize a fee over basic human decency and public health. Rather than discouraging someone with a contagious illness from coming in, they effectively penalize patients for trying to do the right thing. This approach puts other patients and staff at risk and reflects very poorly on their values. For a healthcare provider, this level of indifference is unacceptable. If you're looking for a clinic that treats patients like people instead of transactions, I would strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

This practice is very welcoming and professional. The front desk, medical assistant and doctor were all great. I came in worried because I didn't pass the eye exam at the DMV and thought I wouldn't be able to get my license again. They made the exam and the whole process very pleasant. I would highly recommend this office to my friends and family!

I don't want to start been unfair. The doctors are actually very nice and professional. I went like 3 time on 2025 and once in 2026 and they actually help me a lot and I am grateful. The MAIN reason that I put 2 stars on this place is because of the billing process, I pay with my insurance every time but it turns out that on February 2026 I received my first bill by mail accumulating all the balance I owed after insurance from the beginning of 2025 with an overdue of more than 90 days adding extra charges. I called them and ask them about it and they said that they actually send me regular bills but most likely it was the postal office fault that they got lost if I didn't receive them. They did not forgive what I owed plus still I have to pay the extra charges. They never called me nor contact me by email to remind me of this balance if like they wanted to just continue to accumulate, either way I am really disappointed on this to a point that it feels like I am been taken advantage of, so for this unfortunately I will not come back to this clinic and cannot recommend unless you call every month to make sure you don't have extra balances in your account.

My previous glasses had progressive transition lenses, so I brought in my own sunglasses to have them updated with my new prescription and transition lenses as well. After waiting a week and a half and paying $300, I was given my frames back with dark lenses that do not transition. Why would anyone pay $300 just to receive darker lenses? The whole purpose was to be able to wear them all day, like my previous pair. Instead, I was given a verbal apology and told I would need to pay an additional $160 -- along with another possible two-week wait -- to fix the issue. I've been a customer for 8 years. Just two weeks prior, I paid $400 for my daughter's glasses. You would think a business would be willing to offer some kind of accommodation for the inconvenience, gas, and extended wait time. Unfortunately, this is how they chose to handle a long-term customer.

The staff at Kent Eye Clinic now is great! The customer service and kindness of the reception staff, Pen, the tech that finalized my glasses, and Dr. H, made my experience getting glasses and contacts worth it. Clean office, and good variety. The small talk was very welcoming and friendly. I felt like they cared about my business.

Excellent service. The Doctor took a lot of time addressing my concerns and explaining everything to me. The person fitting me for my glasses was wonderful as well. Overall great clinic with a great staff! I've been coming here for years, and would highly recommend this eye clinic!

I've been going to Kent Eye Clinic for a while now. Last year during my eye exam, Dr. Hoefeldt took the additional time to answer questions regarding the imaging details, and Dr. Phan is a great addition! When I mentioned light sensitivity, she chose a separate room with lower lighting to accommodate my needs. I would love to see more options as far as eyeglass frames go, however I'm so grateful for their flexibility and care!
