Broke the Bridge of my only pair of glasses. Causing me to miss work. Was afraid of how many days work I might miss as I can't see well enough to work without seeing. Looked for a same day optometrist and found none. I did however see that Capitol Eyes did repairs. Good conversation with the owner. Fair price for soldering of the bridge that will be refunded when I buy a new pair. Will return for all my needs.

She soldered the spring hinge on my glasses within 10 minutes, and I was surprised at how incredibly affordable it was.! The proprietor, McKenzie, is soothingly empathetic and has all the sophisticated professionalism and intuition of an artisan. She knew exactly what I needed to repair my low bridge fit glasses and skillfully adjusted their fit after just a glance of assessing my facial geometry. I was in an out of there within minutes. The store had all of the amenities of a modern optical business, but the enigmatic appeal of an exclusive boutique or antiques gallery. Additional mentions to the precious two year old pup, Bing, who was dutifully keeping watch over the shop and very polite when sniffing my hand.

McKenzie was amazing! Wonderful to work with. She helped me pick my frames. I've had the same style of frames for the last 20+ years and she convinced me to try a different style. I trusted her to take the risk. A month later, I'm very happy that I did. This style is my new style and they're SO COMFORTABLE. She knows what she's talking about and is very good at what she does.
She also convinced me to stop cleaning my glasses with my shirt, which I absolutely totally have not done by accident a few times.

The owner is wonderful! Very helpful funny and caring!! She helped me with a broken frame that was not fixable. She found a frame in the shop that fit my lenses and put my lenses in them at a reasonable cost.
Then I went back another time to see if she had a black frame as well. She took two frames and made one for me! Excellent Customer Care!! I will not go anywhere else from now on!
