Everything about this facility is efficient, friendly and thorough. I recently had cataract surgery there and was impressed. Before surgery, they give you a thorough information packet which they walk you through. The Surgery Center is just as friendly, patient focused as the office. And my eye doctor is great. Highly recommend!

I had a terrible experience with this clinic on lily rd. First off they lacked communication. I sent my glasses to get new lenses and they never called me to let me know they needed to be sent back out for defective lenses (this happened twice). Both times I had come in person to find out. The more recent time, I tried calling and no answer. Then once we insisted on a refund and claim my frames back they came back damaged and uncentered.

I scheduled an appointment with Dr Perry Blake, and waited for 6 months to see him. When I came to my appointment after I switched my schedule and took a day off work, I waited for 20 minutes past my appointment time to be informed that I am here to see Dr Louis. Then medical assistant who works with Dr Perry tried to ask me about my health problems and diagnose me. I was offered to wait until February 2026 for the next appointment slot. At the end I was told by the medical assistant that I don't even need to see the doctor because my medical issue doesn't exist. The level of unprofessionalism is astounding.

Was referred here due to having something in my eye that my doctor couldn't flush out. They reported they never got my referral. Their online portal is a joke. Submitted my insurance and information through the portal. Called after not hearing back from them. The staff apparently are unable to review information sent through the portal so had to give all information over the phone again and then was told they didn't have an appointment for 3 months. I obviously couldn't have stuff in my eyes for the next 3 months and had to find an alternative eye specialist. I would not recommend.

I was referred here by the ER in Lacey because I have a corneal ulcer. Specifically, to Clarus. It was hard to get ahold of anyone, and when I did get to a person, and I told them I am on medicaid the attitude completely changed. It was hostile and the guy was talking down to me about what policies they take and they don't. Because it's medicaid they wanted a 500.00 deposit before they would even agree to arrange an appointment. Gone was the hey we;re here to help! To, acting like I was a third class citizen because I am on medicaid and need relatively emergency/urgent care before I start losing my vision.
Will NEVER call here again. Will NEVER suggest this place to ANYONE. The fact this guy fell into the attitude so easily and quickly tells me this is a ROUTINE PATTERN OF BEHAVIOR AND IT IS DISCRIMINATORY.
