Optical Technician, "Sam", Lacey, Fred Meyer. She is very good! Came in to adjust my glasses nose pads, a peculiar case after she explained, she had to adjust it several times, but got it. Displayed, professionalism, courteousness, and skill. The vendor where I got the glasses from, the optician, for some reason, didn't know how to adjust it at all. Thank you "Sam".

I came to this Vista Optical for the 1st time to get a new eyeglasses prescription. They don't have a Optometrist who works there regularly. They have a visiting one that works at Costco Dr. Sierra(she makes $ to the side doing this). Regardless of how long Dr Sierra has been a Optometrist. She made a grave mistake regarding my prescription Dec 2024. When I was visiting there was a lady in front of me elderly who had thicker lenses than even I did. She was upset because they messed up her prescription and they wouldn't do anything for her. I was called in right after, Dr Sierra did my exam, gave me a prescription for my glasses. Unfortunately their stock is very limited, So I went to a different eyeglasses provider with Dr Sierra's prescription. The prescription Dr Sierra gave me was incorrect and the other company made a small mistake on the #'s.She redid the eye exam in Feb 2025 and I was six clicks higher in right eye that she said didn't change at all. She said that prescriptions do not change 6 Clicks in a little over two months unless you have an underlining condition like diabetes or high blood pressure. She then asked me do you have diabetes or high blood pressure and I answered no. She then pushed again saying well this doesn't happen unless you have these issues. She was pushing at me so hard I messaged my partner through my watch phone when she wasn't looking because I was getting extremely uncomfortable. He came in and asked what was happening . She then asked when was the last time you checked your glucose? I answered my doctors check mine regularly every year to every 6 months( I have other medical conditions and I'm overweight). She looked at me like she didn't believe me my partner interrupted and said they really do check regularly. She gave a little huff and then pulled over another device to do a separate test I didn't pay for. I asked her what she was doing and she said she needed to check my eyes with something else. She looked at both of my eyes and put the device away ,turns over to the counter and starts stomping things around throwing a little tantrum. My partner and I looked at her freaking out that there was something horribly wrong with me. I asked her what was wrong and she says nothing there's nothing wrong with your eyes there is usually swelling in the corneas if your glucose levels are too high. I said isn't that a good thing? She said there must be something medically wrong with me. she kept insisting on this,she wouldn't admit to a mistake.She told me I need to see a specialist for my eyes she can't help me she'll refund me my money. I told her I can see a little better out of the current glasses made with this prescription but I can't see everything. She pulled out other lenses out of the drawer and tried a couple more for my right eye. She wrote me a prescription and said I don't know if this is going to work for you your eyes seem to change back and forth but you can give it a try. Due to the other eyeglass company making a mistake as well even though there's a small they were willing to redo my lenses and not charge me to redo them, regardless of Dr Sierra's mistake. I went to my primary who did a glucose test and my glucose was perfect,he did an eye exam once and there was nothing out of the ordinary with my eyes. He sent me to a specialist just in case.His personal opinion ,the woman just made a mistake. I then went to the specialist and he went through every test on my eyes. He said that the new glasses are not even the right prescription (Dr. Sierra made another mistake)but they're close. He told me there is nothing medically wrong with my eyes (besides high prescription). The specialist told me to get a new exam and new pair of glasses since these weren't correct either. Due to DR. Sierra I wasted a Year's worth of insurance benefits and was out $500 all because she made 2x mistakes!! If you have high prescription lenses do not trust Dr. Sierra to give you an accurate prescription, it's safer going somewhere else.We will never go here again!

Very polite staff. Did not try to upsell me on lenses and options that my insurance doesn't cover, unlike places like Clarus where I went last time. Very professional even when their computer system was down.

We had a great experience here! The exam by Dr. Siena was thorough and she worked with the needs of my children. Sam was very knowledgeable, kind, and helpful in finding a good frame. We will definitely be back and are looking forward to picking up new glasses and contacts!

I recently got 2 pairs of glasses at Vista Optical at Fred Meyer Lacey. I worked with Eric throughout the whole process and he was absolutely spectacular. He took the time to help me find a) the right frames that best fit my face and b) explained which lenses he thought would suit me best based on my specific prescription. He truly went over and above to help get to what I feel are the perfect pair of glasses. Eric was a gem to work with (answering all my questions/concerns), professional (following up when he said he would), and very friendly. Thank you Eric and Vista Optical. I couldn't be happier with my new glasses and the service you provided!

I highly recommend the Vista Optical in Fred Meyer Lacey store. Sam and Amy were incredibly attentive and professional. The optician, Dr Siena, took the time to make sure my prescription was accurate. They have a very good selection of frames and Sam and Amy were really helpful in helping me choose the right ones! They don't know how to handle prism glasses-no measurements taken, prisms in incorrect locations, incapable of adjusting glasses properly. The manager there literally chipped my lenses and damaged my frame trying to adjust them and didn't even bother to tell me, instead she suggested I take them next door to CapitalEyes as that business has more experience. I spent hundreds of dollars on glasses there that I can't even wear because they are cheap and not made to fit me correctly.

Elizabeth here made my visit here Excellent, Speedy, & Seamless. I asked if she could fix a slight mis-alignment in my glasses, Elizabeth simply & gently took my glasses and fixed an issue that irked me for months in under 30 seconds. She was a technician that got the work done in an excellent, timely manner. 10/10 would come again.
