Mercer Island Family Eye Care

Today we had an incredible first visit for my 7 year old. Dr. Emam was incredible with her and made sure to listen to everything she had to say, even if it wasn't related to the appointment. They had a wonderful selection of glasses to choose from. Absolutely everyone became in contact with was incredibly kind and helpful. We will absolutely be returning for every eye care need in our home.

The staff was very helpful in finding and recommending frames that were the best fit for my face. In addition, after receiving the new glasses and wearing them over the weekend, I went back to the store to have an adjustment due to not being able together the best vision for the progressive lense. The doctors and service is fantastic. My progressive glasses are on the pricey side, $507 (with VSP) but, I guess that's normal with purchasing directly from the doctor's office vs online or Costco.

I don't usually leave reviews but had such a fantastic experience at Mercer Island Family Eye Care so had to! Both the assistant and doctor were great - they explained everything very clearly and did a thorough examination of my eyes. I've never had such an in-depth exam at past optometrists. Highly recommend this clinic!

I hope I checked the review before I came to this place. My 3.5 year old got her prescription from the Children's Hospital after the surgery. The receptionist said they cant find my the insurance information so I paid all out of pocket ( almost 400 USD) which is fine. They said they will send the itemized invoice to me so I can talk to my insurance but I didn't receive it after two weeks which is not a big deal. When I return to pick up my daughter glasses, I am asking if the doctor can take a look if the glasses fit my daughter and the "doctor" and sales associate said NO our daughter can not see any kids younger than 5 years old and we trust the kids who is 3 year old can clearly see if they feel good or not. Very unprofessional. For any family with young kid, definitely do not come to this place ! Aweful! They only sell glasses but no fitting
