Coal Creek Family Vision

I like Coal Creek Family Vision overall - it is a well-updated center, conveniently located, the front desk staff is very pleasant. I however did not have the best experience with Dr. Kimberly Pandiangan. I had to wait a long time on most appointments and when I did get to meet with her, she always seemed a little unempathetic & distant with a very 'let's just get over with this' type of vibe - not the bedside manner that fits my need unfortunately. Because this center is just very conveniently located for me though, I will likely try another provider at this center next time and make a decision based on that for my future needs.

This was my first time going to a clinic rather than a hospital for glasses, and it was an outstanding experience. I walked in for my appointment and was taken back within a few minutes by a technician. Dr. Pandiangan was personable and provided clear explanations. Afterwards, I worked with an optician who was very helpful in guiding me through my indecisiveness, style preferences, and price range. I would highly recommend this location for your next pair of glasses.

Pathetic customer service and experience. They really do not care about their patients at all. They are very inflexible and quite honestly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. I had a simple request to extend my prescription for 10 days in order to use my benefits that are expiring at year end as I was out of the country before this and the clinic is fully booked out and not available for a new eye exam. They do not even have the courtesy to simply extend even when I told them I have a very recent same prescription from Canada but unable to use as its not from US. Really pathetic customer service and total disregard to their patients concerns. You lost 2 highly valuable customers who would have stuck with you for years. Edit in response to reply: Washington state law and federal rules allow for prescription extensions and renewals. Please do not throw law and legality around thinking your customers are dumb. We are not. Its legally allowed and many practitioners extend temporarily and in my case I was only asking for 1 week extension because your provider DOES NOT have any appointments available. Keeping these circumstances in mind any doctor or provider with a sound judgement who actually cares about their customer would extend with no issues. So yes it is a matter about customer obsession here and not law.

Very happy with my recent appointment with Newcastle eye clinic on Coal Creek . I was able to get an appointment in 1 day . Very little wait time at 10:30AM . My insurance recently changed so I was expecting some wait time with the receptionist. It went very smoothly and she was professional , knowledgeable and answered all of my Questions quickly . I would recommend this eye clinic to anyone . The Doctor was the same

I had a great experience as a new patient. Attentive customer service, great explanation of process, pleasant staff and provider. It was a very thorough exam and review. Definitely recommend!

We've been here the last couple years. Eye doc and assistant are efficient. The star for us is Kenny who is knowledgeable about their products, fit, style and insurance coverages. He is a gem!

Great clinic and staff! My son has myopia and Dr. Pandiangan discussed all the treatment options to slow down the progression. Ultimately we decided to do orthoK. Best decision, my son can now see clear without having to use his glasses when he plays soccer. Highly recommend!

This is a great place for regular eye exam. However, for any other medical conditions (like dry eyes) I do not recommend this clinic. Unfortunately, doctor was focused on treating the symptoms instead of focusing on the root cause. Only focusing on symptoms is extremely dangerous practice of trying to suppress the symptoms which will cause devastating damage to your eyes (prescription steroids, antihistamine eye drops)
