Dr John Guard is great! Easy to talk with, provides really useful information and strategies for now and toward the future. He's upbeat with a sense of humor. I'm disappointed my insurance no longer covers his service :-(

Dr. Huard is literally the best eye doctor that I have ever seen! He told me more about my eye condition that I have had since birth than any other eye doctor that I have seen!! He is truly amazing!! I highly recommend him!!

Dr. Huard Is amazing. I had the best eye exam I have had in years. He is very kind and explains what he is doing and why he is doing it. I will be recommending to friends and family.

Dr. Huard has provided my eye care for many years now. In past years he had his own office/business but recently began providing care through North Olympic Health Care. I have had my regular medical care through NOHN for years and appreciate their network of medical specialists. It is great to have Dr. Huard available through NOHN; I messaged on Monday with concerns over changes in eyesight and they got me in to Dr. Huard the next morning. He is very good at explaining eye conditions and working with me on setting up treatment plans to achieve best results. I highly recommend Dr. Huard and his assistant Lauren; as well as NOHN overall!

I checked in and was taken to the back. No one was around and the receptionist prepped the room. I sat waiting for doctor between 10-15 minutes. The place looked deserted. When he walked in the exam room, I startled-him a bit. He didn't know I was already seated. He came in with no greeting not even telling me his name. Still don't know his name, he wasn't ready for me and when he entered, he went to his computer to turn it on, on trying to get it to the right place. Was nice but flighty.

My experience with NOHN has been great in the past. The staff is always very friendly and care for their patients. However, my experience at their eyecare clinic was not so good, and i do not recommend this clinic if the DOL requires you to submit vision paperwork. I felt yanked around and taken advantage of. A month prior to my appointment, the office called to confirm the appointment and insurance information. It wasn't until I was taken back and sitting in the exam room that the technician informed me that my insurance doesn't cover vision. If my DOL paperwork wasn't due, I would have walked out right then. After my exam, the Dr. informed me that I would have to come back for a second appointment in order for him to complete the form because my eyes were already dilated. At my second appointment i expressed my frustrations about having to make two appointments, and pay out of pocket twice, just to get the form completed. The technician told me that the two tests could not be billed together. But in the 17 years I've had to submit paperwork to the DOL, I have never had to split exams into two appointments. Everything has always been completed at one appointment.

Dr.Huard was great, his staff also. He was really thorough with my exam and I truly recommend him and his staff.

I really liked Dr. Huard. He was very kind, explained everything to me so I understand it including I have been wearing wrong prescription glasses for past few years. Thank you Dr. Huard. Rachelle
