The doctor is great but the nurses are rude. I went to have my daughter eyes checked today. My daughter app was 1.40 but we were called only after 2.15 more than half hour. As we already on the eyes exam by a nurse before seen by a doctor, One of the nurse came and wanted us to switch the room that we were in without even looking at me. We were switched to smaller room. While I don't mind to switch to provide people with special needs a bigger room, I do feel uncomfortable in how the nurse just came and told the other nurse to move to another room. Both of nurses did not even ask me if I was okay to move OR at least to simply apologize for the sudden change/inconvenience. Last year the front desk canceled my app twice. I don't think I will recommend this clinic to anyone until the front desk and nurses improve their service and values courtesy and manners. I will still go to my next app, and hope to see the improvement.
The first time I went for an eye appointment I was waiting 25 minutes before speaking with the office manager about the long wait time. She said they were short staffed and I continued to wait at least another 10 minutes. Now, for the second I waited 20 minutes before speaking with the office manager and told her to cancel the appointment. I'm sure they are aware of when the doctor is running behind and it would be nice for them to make that clear during check-in time.
Went in for a simple annual skin exam. An exam that I've had done every year for the last 15 years. The doctor froze off a small spot on my skin which is pretty normal for me. What isn't normal is that they charged me an additional $160.00 for a 2 second squirt of liquid nitrogen. No other skin doctor had ever charged for this simple thing in the past. Completely ridiculous. I wonder how much extra a band aid is. I will never return and recommend others seek out a skin doctor better moral character.
I love how this medical group is taking advantage of people to line there pockets. If you need glasses and contacts you'll probably be sitting in the same chair. This group wants to double your co-pay so you have to make two appointments. They should be reminded some people still work for a living so not only are they scamming people for a second co-pay they are also effecting their earnings. I have lived in several states and never have I had to schedule a eye glasses appointment separate from a contact lens appointment. These guys are truly taking advantage of there patients!
I've had two appointments since July 2020 and I'm still having issues with the prescription they provided me. I'm having to use my old broken glasses to do computer work from home. I've had nothing but issues seeing clearly out of the glasses that were provided the 2nd time in Oct 2020. I've never had issues with this location until this year. How can we have this corrected? Make another appointment 2-3 months out? Who's going to pay for the Sunglasses and regular glass to fix this issue again?
DO NOT USE THEIR OPTICAL SHOP!!
I've worked in ophthalmology, optometry, optical shops as an optician, I've done a little of everything in the eye business for over 15+ years and I have never given or received such HORRIBLE customer service as I just did with the optical shop at their Sunrise location. I made an appointment for my whole family 4 people in April of 2019. Less than a week before my appointment they called me to tell me the doctor we were scheduled with would be out of town and they needed to reschedule my appointment. Now they are inconveniencing me and they told me I'd have to wait another month before my family could be seen with another doctor. So we had to wait until the middle of May 2019 to finally see a doctor. The least they could have done was to try to get us in as soon as possible since they were not holding up their end of the appointment instead of pushing us out another month! They inconvenienced us without any type of retrobution. So we were finally seen by the doctor and got our prescriptions and went straight to their optical shop to order glasses thinking that they operated in the same manner as the other businesses I've worked in. Boy was I wrong! We ordered 3 pairs of glasses spending hundreds of dollars, and the glasses we ordered for my son was his first pair of glasses. He had a growth spurt and had become nearsighted to the point he could barely see the big E on the chart. We were told it would be 7-10 business days before we could have his glasses. We waited 10+ business days and no one ever called us to let us know if his glasses were there or not. So I called and called and called, no one ever answered the phone. I left messages, no one ever returned any phone calls. My only option was to physically walk in to the optical shop and find out exactly where the glasses were! So I went into the optical shop to find out why we haven't received his glasses. They had no idea! They couldn't find his glasses anywhere! They couldn't even find our order for the glasses! They called the lab and the lab told them that they sent his glasses to the optical shop 9 days ago!! No one ever called me to say hey your son's glasses are here if you'd like to come pick them up or you can wait until all 3 pairs of glasses are here and pick everything up all at once. No customer service! This was the ABSOLUTE worst experience I have ever had or given at an optical shop in my whole career in ophthalmology. This place makes me sad to see the decline in service in my profession. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND EFFORT TAKE YOUR PRESCRIPTION AND GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHO WILL GIVE YOU THE CUSTOMER SERVICE YOU DESERVE!!!!!!!
If it was possible to give this a negative number I sure would. I was in there on Dec 22 and got my eyes checked they were great not the problem. The problem came when I went to get my glasses ordered they person I was dealing with acted like she didn't have a care in the world, she never ask me anything that I wanted on my glasses all I got ask was can I see at distance I said yes. She finished up I walked out as I got home to Spanaway , I noticed the paper said single vision, I immediately called them back told them I needed by focals and her response was will I ask you if you could see at a distance. There I had to drive all the way back to get it right and get charged again which i think I was double charged because she never took off my first payment. She told me it would be 2 weeks for glasses and as I am writing this I am 4 days away from a month I have called, they told me they would call me, my wife has left messge that they have not retuned. This place I would not recommend to anyone, I will tell everyone where I work to say clear of this optical glasses place
I have always used the 1703 S Meridian Office and had a very good experience since my surgery 12 years ago. This year I decided that I wanted glasses and contacts. I went to the meridian office as usual and they sent me to the sun rise for my contacts. The sunrise office has been a complete disappointment. They sent me home with the wrong prescription. I called them after week and told them that I could not see out of this prescription. They told me they would talk to the doctor and call me back. They did not call me back. I called them back after four days. They told me that they had another prescription on order for me. That was great! Would have been nice if they would've called me back and communicated that. Four weeks later I have not heard from them. I have called them two times to check on my prescription left my name my number on the answering machine and nobody has called me back. For what I had to pay this experience has been a complete disappointment and do not plan on using cascade again in the future.
