Eye Care of South Hill

This is my second year coming to Eye care of South Hill. This year through my own fault delaying my state recertification VSP was not added in time for my appointment. They could have rescheduled my appointment for some time further in the future however they got me the very next day. Extremely understanding staff, patient and caring. Definitely recommend.

I have been a patient at Eye Care of South Hill for a number of years. This office is so friendly. They go above a beyond, from Dr Johnson, OD answering my random questions about eyes and vision to the generous staff fixing, my glasses when they are askew. They even worked on my dad's ( not their patient) glasses when he was immobile in assisted living care. I always love my time at Eye Care of South Hill.

This place is Amazing.... They told me that I could bring my daughters glasses in and they would try to fix them. Yip she fixed them and it was fast service. We're going back for her eye emax soon. Thanks for the great service

Absolutely love this place! Everyone is so friendly, welcoming and very helpful. They go above and beyond for their customers. They are excellent with children and have tons of patience. Highly recommend to everyone!

I've been a patient of Dr. Johnson for quite a while. Love him as an eye doctor! However, don't like his office. My husband is a veteran and gets his exams at the VA...he gets them for free. However, to get his glasses, it takes 3-4 months which is a long time when you need new glasses. We took his new prescription into this office to get the new lenses but since he hadn't seen been seen by Dr. Johnson, the office wouldn't fill the prescription. Kind of stupid. But yet, we were able to go up to Cascade Eye at Sunrise, never been there, and they were more than happy to fill it. You would think that purchasing glasses wouldn't be a big deal...the clinic gets money from us no matter what. But apparently it is. As much as I like Dr. Johnson, I am now rethinking if I want to continue with a clinic that doesn't take Veteran's prescriptions.

Absolutely love this place. The staff is friendly and very patient with everyone of all ages. They work quickly but efficiently. They have a huge variety of eye glasses and they are not only great quality but super inexpensive. I will definitely be recommending to everyone.

This practice is excellent. I have never been to an eye doctor and I was scared out of my mind. From the minute that I scheduled my appointment, to walking in the door and then meeting the staff and the doctor, it was an excellent experience. They made me feel calm, cared for and heard my concerns. I will refer Dr. Johnson and his staff out to everybody I know. Quality care is hard to come by in today's society. Having a staff that is happy, personable, smiling and caring when you walk in the door is even harder to come by. I am so grateful that I found Dr. Johnson and his team. Affordable and accepted my insurance. In a few weeks I will have a great pair of glasses.

Been coming here for over a year now. My son wears glasses and they are always helpful and kind. My questions are always answered and I'm always informed about when my son's glasses arrive and appointments. I was able to email my son's prescription in. Every year I send it in for him.
