I love it at North Spokane Eye Care! All of the staff is helpful, personable, kind, & knowledgeable. I have always loved the glasses that Brooklyn & Jackie have helped me pick out over the years. Their attention to detail is top notch! Highly recommend going here for all your eye care needs.

Doctor is amazing. And we love the office. But older lady receptionist was very rude about sign thats says in small writing to stand back. She was condescending and unpleasant. I'm sure she is annoyed with people walking past the sign. But maybe they should increase the size of print. Its not my problem its a common occurrence for people to walk past it.

Jackie (optical), Jennifer (front), Brooklyn (optical) and Tamara (tech) were absolutely WONDERFUL! Not only were they kind and friendly but they were also very personable and easy to talk to. I had an absolutely amazing experience here today between the eye doctor himself, Dr. Shurtz, and all of these lovely ladies. I feel like my needs were not only heard but also met and I am incredibly thankful to each and every one of them for taking the time to help me and get me exactly what I needed. you guys are amazing! Keep doing all that you do and know that you made this mama super happy. 10/10 recommend for anyone seeking eye care help.

I have been a patient at North Spokane Eye Care for 25 years. Dr. Gruver was my first doctor - we are from the same small town in Montana so I knew I could trust him with my eyes! After he retired I stayed with the business and I was happy with Dr. Giamari for several years. Then came Dr. Shurtz and again I am impressed with this doctor. I now live most of the year on Whidbey Island but was not ready to give up NSEye Care so when in Spokane I get my yearly appointment done. I recently had cataract surgery in Spokane and was so pleased with the results and impressed with Dr. Shurtz's staff to help me navigate all of the follow up appointments, choosing RX glasses, insurance questions, etc. Jackie has helped me over these 25 years and I trust her opinions regarding what glasses look best for me. She's thorough and so knowledgeable, will mail my new glasses to me and is nice too! Jennifer and Natalie helped to get schedule all appointments necessary and insurance questions answered right away, and Tamara was so personable and fun to chat with. The staff was friendly and very helpful. I felt welcome. Dr. Shirt explained everything so I could understand. And everyone took there time with me i would recommend them. And I didn't have to wait long for my appointment im very pleased with there service.

I love coming here for my primary eye care!! I have always been taken great care of by the whole team! Jennifer is always a huge help getting my insurance figured out and getting me scheduled! Tamara does an amazing job of bringing me back and making me feel cared for! Jackie is amazing at helping me choose the right pair of glasses that fit my style and my face! Oh and Dr Shurtz is absolutely fantastic! He help figure out that I have dry eyes and got me in to see an amazing specialist at empire eye! He always makes me feel so cared for and helps me understand all the medical terms and my condition! I truly feel cared for by this team!! Thanks guys!!
