I received great care from the whole team. I like supporting local businesses that treat their staff very well. I frequently ask people how well they like their jobs and what it is that makes them like it. I asked several staff at NW Eyelid, all of whom said they loved their jobs. Some had been working there for several years. I noticed a lot of staff talking to each other about their families, lots of laughter, all while they paid attention to details. I was really impressed. One of the staff drew sharp distinctions between their former employer and their current one, clearly preferring NW Eyelid. My medical care was awesome, but what impressed me most was the level of passion and joy exhibited by the doctor and the staff.

Dr. Michels is the absolute best! I had some issues with both of my lower eyelids, that required a few surgeries. He was so attentive, caring, and forthright with me at every appointment. His surgical staff are just as amazing as he is. Recover time after the surgeries were minimal. I am so very pleased with the results. I highly recommend him!!!

Day 4 Im recovering quickly from this procedure without much swelling & only min bruising! Extremely pleased with Dr Broadbent's light touch! I Highly recommend Dr Broadbent and his caring team. From the moment optometrist, Christine Vogel from Americas Best in Coeur D'Alene referred me each person I talked to and met was professional, kind, thorough and pleasant. Thank you Savanah for putting me at ease immediately & the extra cookies after. Also thanks to the receptionist, I forget her name, Christine, Steph and Candace who assisted Dr Broadbent were reassuring me along the way. My experience was excellent, I was comfortable and confident with the team & look forward to the benefits in a few weeks. Already Im having positive results. By following directions of ice every hr I only needed to take Tylenol 2xs. Today, the first morning I woke with a check in call from the office and I had no pain and have minimal swelling. Icing 3xs during the night made a difference. Thank you all~ PS how could I forget to thank Liberty? I did and now adding on to my review. She was reassuring, kind & attentive Nap Dr!

Dr. Michels and his staff went above and beyond helping me with my eyelid issue. My eyelid surgery was botched twice by a large eye clinic surgeon in Coeur d'Alene and thankfully, I was able to find Northwest Eyelid and Orbital specialist. As a former nurse, I recognize excellence in staff and surgeons immediately. Dr. Michaels was attentive, professional, comforting and most of all knowledgeable with my situation with my eyelid. Though the wait of 3 months was a bit daunting, (considering my eyelid was very very painful) Dr. Michaels made up for that with his surgical skills and calming bedside manner. The follow-up care was absolutely outstanding. I received three phone calls making sure that my eyelid was less painful the day after surgery and then another 2 weeks later got a phone call and then just a final phone call just to make sure there was no other needs from Dr. Michaels. Yes, the wait time isn't great, yet their courteous and gentle approach to such a sensitive medical situation more than made up for it!

I had MMCR congenital ptosis corrective surgery here over a year ago, and my results have lasted since. Dr Michaels did a great job and answered every question I had throughout the whole process. He was very friendly and patient, gave me all the pros and cons of my options and ultimately I went with what he believed would be the least risky for me. From initially scheduling my consultation to finally having surgery, it was about a six month wait, but was totally worth it. My surgery drastically changed my life and I'm so extremely grateful for the work Dr Michaels does. I highly recommend him!

I am currently in the waiting room at the surgery center of this business as I am waiting for my husband to finish his surgical procedure here. I am writing this review in an effort to help the support staff at this business improve their customer service efforts when dealing with the public and people who are waiting here for their loved ones to complete their medical procedures. I have been a business professional for most of my adult life, and I was shocked to find that this business, even when people have to travel here multiple hours to receive their services, are so unfriendly and fail to provide coffee or tea services or other types of courtesy items, like magazines or other reading materials, in their waiting room. Granted, my husband and I had to travel here from Walla Walla to obtain these services, but just because we're from out of town shouldn't mean we are treated any differently from other patients here in Spokane. There was also an issue with getting my husband scheduled for this appointment as he wanted to get this procedure done over the summer or Thanksgiving break so as not to interfere with his work schedule, and instead, he had to undergo this procedure the week before Christmas because this business was unable to accommodate his scheduling needs despite his repeated requests and interactions with the scheduling staff informing them of his scheduling issues. Hopefully, my husband's surgery will go smoothly, but so far, I have not been impressed with the customer service provided by this business.

Dr Michels removed a spot on my eyelid on my first appointment and did a fantastic job, he took the time to explained all my options I decided to have the spot removed, I could not be happier with the results, my eyelid is black and blue right now but I am sure it will heal up just fine. Thank you Dr Michels.

I highly recommend Dr Michels ! He was very kind and took his time explaining the procedure I was going to have. The whole experience was excellent. The staff we so helpful ,professional and thorough with every step. My outcome was more than I hoped for since it was a skin cancer procedure on my eyelid. He genuinely cares about his patients and providing the best care possible.
