Dr whitehead has always been very professional and good with the kids. He makes visits fun for them, quick and easy. I am also very happy that after surgery my son has had no problems with his vision.

Very wonderful place to have your children be seen. DR. Whitehead had done a surgery on one of my children and it is amazing how things went let alone how all my children like seeing him for their eyes. He is a very wonderful, friendly, funny, respectful person. Id recommend him to anyone who has children that need their eyes checked or even eye surgery. He cares so much about his patients.

I feel that so often we only share reviews when its prompted by a bad experience - I was so happy leaving this office with our experience. Scheduling was easy and we got in relatively quickly. We had a short wait in the lobby, we were helped in the back quickly and efficiently. We were never waiting long which is so helpful when you have a toddler. Dilation of her eyes went so well, they had a fun and comforting dilation room. We did not walk out with a prescription for glasses, but I do know where I will feel comfortable bringing my daughter back to when that time inevitably comes for her.

I take my time before I usually to write bad reviews. So disclaimer first off I'm over 20 so why my eye doctor sent me for surgery and to have them examine my optic nerve hypoplasia is beyond me. Other than my eye doctor and doctor nye i guess are friends? But I guess birds of a feather flock together. Anyways, so first, I was charged for the same exam I did prior that year for my glasses so that doesn't make sense. They're excuse was we wanted to check the prognosis which that was real scummy to hear. But a office of nothing but females i guess what do you expect. Second, I gave 3 stars not due to the knowledge of the doctors but due to the lack of explanation. If you declare a disorder is un curable and the patient gives a idea like stem cell research you need a better answer than "No not going to work" with no scientific explanation. Third, due to my issue they didn't charge me, now in that letter, it basically stated we aren't going to charge you but you suck and don't call us out on insurance issues. So like most immature people they had to have the last word. I'm not pleased still even after close to a year, because I'm trying to understand how this clinic is supposedly the best for people but yet treats basically children? So 3 starts because yes they do have lots of knowledge, just most of the girls here have a ego issue and that's really discouraging. I wasn't going to let that woman doctor operate on me charge me over 3,000 for the surgery to straighten the eye but not put effort into fixing my blindness nor explaining why she wasn't intelligent enough to fix my eye or explaining why it couldn't be fixed. My mom drank when she was pregnant caused my issue and she defended her without knowing her. Woman power at full force at this place. Don't go here unless you want to feel under someone.

My rating is specifically for Dr. Whitehead. My autistic 5 year old daughter saw him for an eye exam. She has anxiety and was sooo nervous. He was very kind, friendly, informative, and so playful with her. He made her anxiety disappear and made her laugh/smile through the whole exam. He broke it into easy and fun steps for her. Highly recommend him!

Always have an amazing experience we have been going here for 13 years and the same doctor has seen my daughter and done 3 surgeries and it's always a pleasant time he is not just a doctor he is an amazing friend within the office space and always treats my daughter with a smile and happy place and ease her anxiety when it comes time to talk surgeries.

We've been taking our son here for over 10 years! They are amazing!

I feel so blessed to have been referred here. Dr. Nye is an fantastic surgeon and fixed my strabismus at 47 years old.
