Optic One Eye Care

I've been a patient here for almost 20 years, and the care has been exceptional every single time. Mel is incredibly thorough and always take the time to explain things in a way that's easy to understand. The staff (especially Jamie) is warm, professional, and helpful from the moment you walk in. I really appreciate how personalized the care feels. They remember my history, answer all my questions, and I never feel rushed. I always leave knowing my eye health is in great hands. I truly recommend this office to anyone who wants reliable, attentive, and high-quality eye care.

I injured my eye with my fingernail and promptly contacted Optic One, who scheduled an immediate appointment for me. Upon my arrival at the office, I was met with exceptional kindness and compassion. Despite being in considerable pain and distress, the staff provided excellent care. They were incredibly supportive, thoroughly explained everything to me, and the doctors dedicated ample time to my examination, ensuring I never felt hurried.I should also mention that I was a new patient there and selected them due to their proximity, but I am now choosing to remain a patient indefinitely because they genuinely made me feel welcomed and valued. 100% recommend.

I've been coming here for years, every time has been a pleasurable experience! Very friendly front desk staff and technicians. Dr. Lindauer always does a great job at making sure you are comfortable and welcomed. I couldn't recommend Optic One enough!

Optic One doctors and staff have done a wonderful job taking care of my family and me. Jamie, especially, is so friendly and professional; she really makes visiting the optometrist fun! She takes the time to answer all of my questions and helps to make sure I have the correct prescription. Not all contact brands fit my eyes well, but they allowed me several contact fitting visits to try different brands to make sure I had the best fit. Thank you!

The staff are nice but for some reason the ophthalmologist never used numbing eye drops when dilating my eyes, which was always very painful. My eyes being dry are one of the conditions they were seeing me for and getting dilated made me dread coming to the ophthalmologist. I figured this out since I went to a new ophthalmologist and they gave me numbing drops, I forgot they even existed frankly because I went to Optic One Eye Care for years.

When I first left my 1st visit at Optic One Eye Care I would have given it a great review, however, now if I could do less than one star I would. When I was waiting I did look at the glasses in the optical store because it is generally my preference to buy my glasses where my exam has been done. I couldn't see one pair I even wanted to try on. They said they may have more in the back and I could check before I left. When I left they person had gone home early for the day. LEAST of my problems. I asked them to check my old RX against my new RX and told them I was very uncomfortable with that big of a change. I very clearly went over their policy if the lenses didn't work for me. They said no problem they would work with me to get them correct at no additional charge. I had THREE pair of glasses made and they are horrible I can not use them at all. I called the practice to let them know and they told me to have the RX checked against the lenses which I did and they are correct. They said, and this is only 2 wks after, that I had to come in and PAY for another re-check. I asked to talk to a manager they do not have one I asked to talk to someone that could help me they said I needed to talk to the doctor who did not call me back! I was repeating myself because I really felt she was not understanding what I was saying. So I very clearly asked, if I get a RX that the doctor wrote but it does not work for the patient the patient is wrong and the doctor is correct and I have to PAY again. She said "essentially" YES! I called my health insurance who would not pay for a new visit but they said they would re-set my insurance and I could go to anyone else and they would cover it and to be sure not to recommend this doctor to anyone. Also, I did not opt for a dilated exam because I have never needed one. He recommended one within a month or so but they said my insurance would not cover it that it had to go through my health insurance. I talked to my insurance about this and they said NO not accurate even if I didn't have it at the time of 1st visit it would still be covered and of course it is a billable service. But NOPE they wanted another exam fee. I am currently, waiting to get a new doctor appointment I have to go through the whole process again and hope the provider that made my glasses will honor their 2mth return policy as it is not the same doctor. I saw a review from someone from approximately 1 week ago, interesting, timing that said this office is so great that they wanted to help him even though he had to go back twice as his RX was wrong for him. I am wondering if he had to pay. I would STRONGLY stay far away from this place!!!!!!! Unfortunate, I thought i found a good practice and had told people. Quickly, retracted this statement!

Have been seeing the doctor here with my mom for years, even followed him from another franchise when he moved from one to this one. All of the staff is incredibly kind, funny, and soft-spoken. Makes me sad that my eyes only need to be checked once a year here.

The people are very friendly and they took the extra time to make sure I had the best Rx for me. That took an extra visit or two but they wanted to get it perfect and it was included in the original contact fitting cost so I wasn't charged extra. Nice!
