Spokane Eye Clinic - Nevada/Northpointe

I hate leaving bad reviews but I'm super disappointed in Spokane Eye Clinic as a whole. I had been trying to get my daughter into see someone here since September. She originally had an appointment that I had to move because of an insurance issue, which wasn't their fault but in hindsight it would have been great if they would have verified insurance prior to her appointment like most places do. Instead I didn't discover the issue until the day of while we were in the waiting room. We waited 2 months for that first appointment. Fixed the insurance issue and made her another appointment. The first available appointment they had was another month and a half out which was fine. What can you do, right? Well her appointment was supposed to be on 12/16. I got the email and confirmed the appointment 2 days ago. I just got a call telling me that whoever made the appointment in their office double booked my daughter and they have to move her appointment. I was offered an appointment another month and a half out at a location 30 minutes from my house. When I asked for an appointment at the original location they told me it's a 3 month wait. I'm sorry but that is completely unprofessional and outrageous. I honestly feel like it's their fault that they double booked and should figure out a way to see both patients instead of giving them the run around. Meanwhile my daughter can't see and is struggling in school because of it and I'm getting the run around from a place like this. I picked this clinic because I thought they'd be more professional than a place like lens crafters but boy was I wrong. Highly disappointed and I would recommend everyone avoid this company.

Went with hubby. Took along time! In all 2 hrs. They were upgrading computers or something ~ on our time! Thinking it should have could have been a weekend project to be ready for customers! More important! I didn't notice them wiping down to sanitize the equipment before using! Dr sanitized hand on the way out but didn't see coming in.....

I scheduled an eye exam well in advance. The clinic sent me the wrong appointment time as a reminder, so I showed up an hour late. They acknowledged that it was their mistake. They then sent me away without being able to see me same day, even though it was because of them that I missed my appointment. I only get to be seen once every 2 years and I spent my last bit of paycheck to drive out to my appointment. I was really needing this appointment. I'm also leaving in a couple days, so there's no way for me to reschedule. When a patient messes up they get punished for missing an appointment, but when the clinic messes up, there is no accountability for them to make it right. It should be their obligation to make sure that patient is seen same-day if they mess up. Very upsetting, I've been coming to this clinic since I was a child and it's just gotten worse as time has gone on. People don't care to uphold their word or professionalism. If a clinic schedules an appointment for me to be seen, and they mess it up they need to make it right. Because if it were the other way around, they would demand the same or they would restrict that person from even being able to have appointments with that clinic. . I will not be going back to that clinic. And I will tell my family and friends to not go to this clinic either.

Booked an appointment with the lady at the front desk for my daughter, took time off work to take her in only to find out receptionist never even booked the appointment though she gave me an appointment card for the appointment. Waste of time just to be told my daughter can now wait another 2 months to be seen due to their failure to schedule properly.

Was scheduled an appointment for 11-21-25. They tried to cancel it before the appointment. I called and told them I needed it because my vision was bad. They finally got me in and the Dr Absolonson was very rude to me very short didn't answer any of the questions that I had. All he wanted was for me to get an eye injection. He probably gets kickbacks for this service. Do not use these guys. Instead use the clinic next to them. Dr Grant Hardan at Eyedentity clinic. He was very professional and answered all my questions. I have cataracts very bad and if I stuck with Spokane eye clinic I may have lost the ability to see anything. By the way their replies to reviews are just computer generated. All the same answer

My wife had an eye appointment today, at 2pm, Nov. 14th. She checked, and sat waiting until 3pm, when called and escorted to a room. She sat in that room alone, waiting for the doctor, until 4pm. At that point, declared that this is ridiculous, told the assistant, she's not waiting any longer. We left with a little information from the assistant on how remedy the issue. It was noted that others in the waiting area were experiencing the same waiting game!

Appalling at how long we waited for our appointment!!! It was at 10:30....Its a quarter after eleven and we are still sitting here!!! Shame on you. We drove two hours to get here to top it off! Definitely changing clinics!!! AWFUL

My review is primarily about the lady who is working optical today around 9:40 am. At the north location. Very rude. Everyone else was really kind. I was just trying to find out answers to a few questions. My nine-year-old misplaced his glasses and he had insurance on them. I didn't know how it worked so scheduling transferred me to optical. I was asking how to do the replacement and was told that the prescription had expired the next appointment that they had wasn't until December 9 so therefore my son would go without his glasses until December 9. She asked if scheduling knew his glasses were lost before making the appointment I said yes. She told me I could try and get on the cancellation list and if not I'd have to wait and if he goes without that was up to me. so I asked her if there was anyway I could have the prescription lens numbers so I could find something similar to what he needs because idk how it works and I didn't want him to be without for so long at least until they can see him and she was very rude about it cut me off and said I can't give you that because the Prescription is expired rude toned...then just transferred me back to scheduling. Some people I was just trying to see what I could do.
