I had to get reading glasses because my eyes are struggling to focus at my age and I chose Pearl Eye Care to help me with that. I ended up getting progressive lenses which I have struggled with in the past. With their guidance and advice, I selected features that would help to eliminate the issues I had in the past with progressive lenses. Their recommendations worked well. When I discovered that the reading portion of the lenses was not working well when using electronic screens, I called them and they got me in that day to take care of the issue. They did some more measurements and determined that my prescription needed to be fine tuned for me. They then sent my glasses out to get fixed at no additional cost to me. I truly appreciate their willingness to check my issue immediately and to get the new prescription put on the lenses at no expense to me. They didn't have to be that efficient as I would have understood given the current state of affairs in my area, but they did. They have a customer for life!
I have been going to Pearl Eye Care Center for about 5 years now. They have always been extremely professional and their customer service is superb. I have now had two of young children been seen and couldn't of asked for better care. Their glasses selection is fantastic. I can't be more pleased with them.
This was my first time going to this doctor. I really liked Dr. Noble he was very professional and a great communicator. But the optician tech, Jess, ( that's what I was told is her name) is extremely aggressive when speaking to certain patients. She is very short tempered and does not allow you to speak and constantly speaks over you. When I came in to pick up my trials I didn't understand the process she was very demeaning when explaining it and clearly didn't know or look at my chart because she kept referring to my doctor as a "her". I told her that I would prefer to speak to my doctor about it or someone else in the office and I was not in a rush but she continued to badger me about the situation speaking to me in a very unprofessional and aggressive tone. It's sad that one bad employee can ruin the experience and reputation for an entire office. I spoke to Michelle the office manager about it and still returned for my follow up visit. Jess thought it was a good idea to still unnecessarily engage me during my visit which I did not appreciate at all. I won't be returning.
I probably had a unique experience but ordered two pair of prescription glasses at once, one pair normal and one pair sunglasses. Both had to be sent back at least once and have performed really poorly. I have worn glasses for 50 years and this is the worst results i have ever gotten. The staff though were very nice and helpful. Just the glasses that sucked
Even though this is a Chain the people the work at this location are amazing. They are kind and communicating. While I was picking out new glasses, my old frames broke! They found a spare pair a popped my lenses in so I could borrow them while I waited for my new lenses/frames! Outstanding customer service.
I have had appointments with both of the doctors (an eye exam for glasses, and a diabetic eye exam). Both doctors were very friendly and very thorough with the exams. They didn't mind answering my questions, and gave me a lot of information regarding my eye health. The rest of the staff was equally friendly, and very helpful. I won't go anywhere else.
While the staff is very friendly, I chose this place because my state insurance covers the exam.
I do not recommend buying glasses from them especially if you need progressive lenses Because I pay $345 for my glasses and lenses this does not include the recommended anti glare . That would have been an additional 120 and in order for me to order glasses on line with my prescription, i was told on the phone that I have to pay $25 extra to get my pupillary distance number before I can order. I think it would be cheaper to pay for my own exam at Walmart. So if your going here because your insurance pays for exam, I recommend going elsewhere .
also the receptionist said only 5 people allowed in the waiting area but at 1 point, there was 10 people in there and I was surrounded by 3 people there were barely a foot away from me, one Was not wearing a mask . it was a teenager, with 2 people with him, literally almost touching my chair. even though they had people wait outside at 1st.
They helped people that were walk ins with no appointment for ordering glassess, people making appointments, people waiting to be seen and 1 trying on glasses. And I sat for 25 minutes waiting and I had an appointment .
Update: I had to call to see if my glasses had come in, it took 3 weeks. They just came in as I called. I have to return them, as they don't seem to be the right prescription.
Really nice, seems like most of the employees can speak Spanish, that's helpful. Kinda small, but looks like they're moving. Got my prescription, and the lady asked if I wanted to get glasses today, I said na maybe later, she said ok. So it's nice that there is no pressure to buy glasses through them. It was a pleasant visit.
