I like my glasses that I got, but the customer service was not good. The doctor was ok, very short and not friendly but whatever. But the front desk ladies were just rude. And they looked at me like I had 2 heads every time I talked. When I asked questions they acted annoyed. I got stuck in traffic on my way to my appointment and I was running like 2 mins behind, so I called just to let them know I was still coming. The lady on the phone (who also helped check me out) acted like I was annoying her by calling. The price was good and I like my glasses but I'll just go to a different location next time if they can't treat customers nicely.
The most comprehensive eye exam and customer service care I have received to date. Affordable, professional, and knowledgeable. Many thanks to Dr. Sabouri and the Assistant Manager, Austin!
Edit: I ended up removing the second star because I ordered two pairs of the same prescription, and someone took it upon themselves to change one of the prescriptions to something I didn't ask for. When I called I was told nothing could be done unless I want to send the glasses back to the lab once they're totally finished.
Two stars because Alma was super kind and helpful. But only two stars because we definitely won't be back, and I would not encourage anyone to bring a child here. Elijah greeted us with a grunt and a glare that almost had us turn around and leave immediately. He seemed angry that I came to his desk, just inside the front door, and didn't know to go to the medical desk. It was my first ever appointment here. The woman at the front desk asked how long ago I got my last pair, and I said, "Oh around ten years- 2018 I think." Elijah yelled, "That's SEVEN years." And gave me a stern look. I said, "Yeah... thanks." Then when I was trying frames, he would interject loudly and yell his opinions when I would ask Alma for hers, yelling things like, "TOO BIG!" And simply, "NO." My young son was uncomfortable and the woman next to me asked if I knew Elijah and if he was teasing me. Nope, never met him before in my life. We ended up giving each other advice to avoid any more "help" from Elijah, which he gave to others. The staff were also openly talking about a phone call from a lawyer representing someone is a lawsuit who wanted their fax number, which felt like a conversation I wasn't supposed to be hearing. I'll pick up my frames when they're delivered but I won't ever be back. I won't pay to be judged for the glasses I purchase.
I just came from a great vision test. My doctor was Paris Sansouri I think. She is a lovely, warm person. I felt very satisfied . I even hugged her when I left. I don't know why the first review felt she was mean or something. Maybe she thought you were hard of hearing? I don't know. I came home to write this review so...
Went in to order new frames as my glasses had broken. Elijah ended up being the one to help me. He was absolutely amazing, and also hilarious! Need more people like Elijah in our lives!
I've always loved America's best, but this location treated me absolutely horrible. The doctor, I believe her name was "Parastou Sabouri", kept raising her voice at me during the eye exam, until she was yelling at me. It seems very clear to me she hates her job and doesn't have the patience to do eye exams and work with visually impaired individuals. It's very normal for a near sighted patient like myself to ask to see a slide one more time, but clearly she wanted to get the eye exam over with as soon as possible and thought that yelling at me would "help". Eye exams are pretty quick, so I don't know why she was frustrated and I do not enjoy paying a lot of money to get yelled at for what I can't see, when I'm clearly a near sighted patient. Also, I do not appreciate Oscar, the eye technician gossiping about me in front of me, he was complaining that I chose to go with a less expensive glasses frame, instead of a designer luxury brand. I get that he probably gets paid a commission, but it's very unprofessional to gossip with coworkers about a patient, especially right in front of the patient. Also, I waited months and never received the usual phone call to pickup my glasses.
I gave one star because they gave me the wrong prescription for my glasses, I can't see the small letter and they charged me $150.
They SUCK BIG TIME!
I just had the best experience at this office. I was a walk in and was in a hurry but didn't have any other days I could come in. Michelle was amazing! She got me in way ahead of schedule and I was seen within 20 minutes of coming in. The doctor was very professional and so nice. Afterward, Austin was extremely helpful and kind while ordering my prescription glasses. All in all, I had such an amazing experience and will definitely be going back for all my eye needs! Thank you to Michelle, Austin and the Doctor I can't remember his name !
