Costco Optical Department

Great customer service! I needed a pair of distance glasses for driving, but my doctor recommended progressive lenses due a slight reading correction in addition to distance. Progressives did not work for me, and this Costco Optical dept was very helpful with correcting the order. Hassel free and very understanding.

My dad went in for eye exam today to get new glasses as he smashed his current pair. The dr told him he needed cataract surgery and getting new glasses before that would be a waste. One of the technicians spent 30 minutes repairing his "smashed" pair to hold him over!! Awesome customer service. Thank you!!

I was considering coming here for contact lenses. When I stopped by to chat with the office staff, the secretary insisted on chatting OUTSIDE the office, and started TALKING DOWN to and BERATING me in front of the entire Costco store. Simply because my eye care routine is not as ridiculously rigid as most. Yes, I have slept in my lenses, yes im aware of the potential side effects of doing so, but NO, I dont need a lecture on the Costco floor, in front of countless other customers. 30 years i have been wearing contact lenses, and have developed a lens care regimen that works for me, so I dont appreciate being lectured as if im new to wearing contacts. I took my business elsewhere and advise others to do the same. This office is to be avoided.

Great experience! The staff was friendly, the exam was thorough, and everything was explained clearly. I felt well taken care of and never rushed. Highly recommend!

Went here to get contacts fitted for the first time ever so that I could wear them for my wedding. (I went in 4 months before I needed them) they told me they had to order a sample set for me to make sure it was the right prescription values before ordering a full set. Went home and I could only see out of one eye. I called and they made me an appointment to adjust them and see what was wrong and they were never able to get my prescription right. It was a full on cycle of them sending me home with more and more test samples all different values and they were never able to do it right. This went on for weeks and I never got to wear contacts for my wedding. Wishing I would of gone somewhere else instead. I kept trying even after the fact. The last time I tried making an appointment they told me it had been too long and that I needed to get another eye exam. Why would I have to do that when it was their fault that it had taken that long? Please save yourself the hassle and go somewhere that actually cares about their patients or just someone that knows what they're just doing in general.

Kari was amazing and so knowledgeable. My wife and I ordered glasses at the Costco in Vancouver off of 88th street. We were greeted by Kari and she was able to find both of us a couple of great frames for our new prescription lenses. Very nice and helpful. Really appreciate the outstanding service we received from her.

Keri Sadewasser and Mary Roberts were terrific ... they were kind, helpful, and professional. I felt like I was shopping with my sisters (and that's a good thing). Everyone in this department was good; they appear to be congenial with one another, flexible, and caring. ... and your prices are significantly lower than at most other opticians. Thank you

Called last week with questions Zack ( I'd give him 5 star) out where lenses are was a great help & full of information I was thankful. He transferred me to the optometrist so I could make an appointment it was a recording so I left a detailed message including "look forward to hearing back from you" one week later I've heard nothing! I get things are different in our world today but I suggest the message state we will "TRY" & call you back or sorry not seeing patients currently not leave a person hanging wondering! Did I mention it's been week! So I shall go back to the Wilsonville one it just isn't close for me anymore Vancouver was going to be. Looking at other reviews seems something needs to change to better accompany the Patients!
