My husband recently went to Pacific Optical and ordered new glasses and frames. In his words, "They had a really good selection of frames and I was able to get nice looking frames with tri-focal lenses. The price was good and the service was great."

Went to this optical business, my first time. I had a prescription from my Ophthalmologist which I saw on September 16, 2024. I selected a frame and they were to get my prescription lenses. I wore the glasses for two weeks even though my vision was blurry (I had a slight adjustment for left eye) so was making sure that the lenses were right. I took them back today to see what the problem was and the gal who waited on me said the dots match up so it has to be my vision changed or my ophthalmologist might have made an error. I got progressive lens, which I had with other glasses, and I think maybe there could be an issue with them but she was adamant that I needed my vision checked again as that would probably be the problem. I will never go back there when they don't stand up to their fulfillment of glasses. Just money down the drain!!

I had a surprisingly terrible experience at Pacific Optical over the past couple of weeks. I've been having some vision problems and requested an eye exam. I had been to Pacific Optical before, but they couldn't locate my records. That would be fine if the attitude I got about it wasn't so off-putting. The exam was fine. The doctor is very nice and clearly very experienced. She did recommend I get a new pair of glasses with prescription lenses for everyday use. I found a frame I liked and ordered lenses. I got a pretty hard sell on transitions for my lenses, and ordered them along with anti-glare. I should note the store did not have a demo pair of the transition lenses available to try. That evening I discussed it with my partner, who also wears glasses, and changed my mind on the transition feature. I called the morning of their next business day and requested the alteration to my order. The person I spoke to persuaded me to try them anyway because sometimes people have issues with a new prescription, so we might have needed to change them out anyway. I reluctantly agreed. The following week, my glasses were ready. My partner was correct - I immediately hated the transitions. After a couple days of trying out the prescription strength, I called and requested new lenses, same scrip, no transitions. These new lenses arrived this week, and I picked them up a couple of days ago. I asked if I would be getting a refund for the transitions, which were quite expensive. The person I spoke to was unsure how that worked and said she would ask, then call me to follow up. I left a pair of sunglasses with them to send to the lab and check if my scrip could be put in the frame. Nobody ever called me to follow up about the refund, but they did call about the sunglasses. They gave me a quote for the work, and I was prepared to go forward, but first inquired about the refund. I was hoping that, as we were going forward with more business, they would be agreeable to apply at least a partial credit for the transitions towards my next purchase, but they were not willing to compromise for one red cent. Thus, I declined to engage in another purchase with them. This whole sequence of events left an awful taste in my mouth. I felt I had called with plenty of time to cancel the lenses and was persuaded to stick to them, with the implication that it was on a trial basis. I had so much business lined up for this place - I wanted multiple frames for my new scrip, my partner needs new frames, I bring my daughter here for regular checkups, the sunglasses, etc. But if they'd rather hang onto what they already got out of me, I guess that's their decision. I will be returning to pick up my sunglass frames when they get back from the lab and that will be that. Lucky for me, there is a brand new place that opened up right down the street from Pacific Optical that is very happy to take my money. It blows my mind to encounter such bad practices from a small business operating in the shadow of a huge new competitor. I also suspect that the reordered lenses do not have the anti-glare feature that I paid for. I will be clarifying this with Pacific Optical when my frames get back from the lab and updating my review.

The first glasses Pacific Optical made for me were so good I do not allow myself to consider going elsewhere. I first started using them about six years ago. My eyes required high correction with multifocal lenses, and the glasses from Pacific Optical always fit and worked properly. Glasses I had made at the famous low priced "big box store" in town did not work as well. My latest glasses (September 2023) had to be remade, but the 2nd try worked perfectly. They take "Eye Med insurance" to give discounts. Dr. Fujisaki is a pleasure to spend time with. Highly recommended, if you are sure you can afford them.

I started to get what seemed a light film on my left eye. I made an appointment with Dr. Fujisaki. She was so amazing and committed to find the root cause of my condition. She discovered I have a small cataract on my eye. She quickly came up with a solution and the issue was resolved in 20 minutes. I have never experienced a more professional and caring physician in my life. Thanks doctor for giving me your best.

I have been to lenses crafters, America's best, JCPenney I was unable to wear glasses for about 2 years because they were to strong! Pacific optical was recommended by my friend. The best experience ever I was able to wear my glasses the day I got them. Prescription was spot on! I will not go anywhere else!! Both the ladies at pacific optical are AMAZING!

We have a family of 5 who all wear glasses. We've been going to Pacific Optical for years and years. They are always helpful, do what's right for the customer, and want you to have the very best experience. They care about YOU, not your pocket book. They are honest about your insurance coverage, and help you find the best options within your budget. We all love them, and I can't say enough to praise their outstanding customer service!

I had such a wonderful experience here!! I went to so many places shopping for glasses and most of the time left each place without even finding one pair I liked. I went to Pacific Optical on a whim and they had so many cute pairs I couldnt decide. It's a small shop but the woman at the front desk puts a lot of thought and effort into which frames she buys for their shop, which leads to a really great selection. Finally, I decided I loved a certain frame but mentioned I wished they were in a different color. Right then she looked up if they came in any other color, which they did-- but they were sold out online. Instead of giving up, she called around and found a pair... then had them delivered to the store 2 days later. They were perfect and I am still (months later) so so so happy with them. Seriously amazing customer service. Thank you so much!!
