Dr Kress Eyecare Associates, PLLC

I like the doctor, however the staff is not up to par. They have taken my insurance in the past. I went to an appointment they told me they changed how they took insurance and wanted to charge over 120 dollars . It would have been nice to know this before wasting my time going there. It's not the first problem my wife and I have had. My last appointment they ran a specific test and didn't bother telling me my insurance didn't cover it and I had to pay. The last time my wife went they didn't even tell her before her appointment they changed how they billed insurance did her exams and then charged her. Then would not give her persciption and said they would mail it to her over the course of three weeks my wife called multiple times and every time she was told it was mailed out. She finally had to go in and tell them to hand it to her because it wasn't being mailed to her. It's really a shame I like the doctor but the staff and their incompetence has inspired us to find another eye doctor. It's unfortunate, I really do like the doctor, but with the experiences my wife and I have had I could not recommend.

This is the most incompetent office staff! From ordering the wrong glasses, not telling us about specific opportunities for our insurance, changing their appointments that were scheduled a year in advance, to forgetting to place the order for contacts, to hateful interactions from desk personnel, & Dr Kress getting sarcastic when I told him that we would not be ordering our contacts or glasses from them & wantinga copying the prescriptiontotake with us... then, there are 4 in our family. So the multitude of calls from staff, automated calls, texts messages and emails for appointment reminders. I'm done! And let's not forget the poor new girl that was being micromanaged and repremanded in front of the customers. Dr Kress does a very thorough exam & I have specific eye conditions that needed to be addressed. So I was pleased with that. But we'll never go back!

I have had what I thought was an eye infection for almost 3 weeks. Was treated by ER and the treatment didn't work. So they referred me to a local eye Dr in my town DR Farnsworth,however he never called me to schedule an appointment so I tried calling his office and no one ever answered the phone. So today when I woke up unable to see out of that eye,I decided to call Bridget eye care where my children go. The receptionist said their was no Dr in on Fridays cause he's at his clinic in Buchannon. She gave me the number and I called,I was told to come there immediately and they'd work me in. I did and was treated,found out I do not have an eye infection but an inflamed eye. He gave me a prescription and directions to follow. It's only been 6 hrs and my eye sight is back,though blurry and the pain as well as redness is almost gone. He's an awesome Dr and the ladies that work at both clinics are also awesome. Thank you Dr Kress for making room for me during your busy schedule.

I use to really like them ,but this year the Professionalism of this doctor has went down hill. I got charged for some kind of new test that they now require you to get to,but they never even went over the results of the test with me. And not all but a few of there staff is so rude and unprofessional its not funny. If you take your child there and then have concerns about his/her visit or the prescription that was given for get about it. Because they wont listen.

My husband, my youngest daughter and I all go here. Absolutely love the staff and the dr. They are all wonderful! I accidentally broke my husbands glasses and they stood behind their warranty which was amazing. Very professional and family oriented. I feel like I'm home there.

Dr Kress is a very good Dr. The staff seem ok. The progressives I ordered were 300 dollars. Came in bent and not wearable. Then when tried on they had so much glare you cant drive with them. 40 dollars for anti Glare? Lmao no i dont think so . Glasses returned. Never to be a customer again.

I absolutely love Dr. Kress! I have to go to him every six months because my eyes change so rapidly and he always gets my prescriptions right every time! He also worked with me to get me into the right contacts so they would work with my eyes! Highly recommend him and his staff!

This Dr office used to be in such better standing with me but they hav gone really down hill. My son is a patient there and has to be seen yearly each year im less pleased. They didnt call or even email when his new glasses came in, I had to contact them almost 5 weeks later!!! Once contacted and went in to pick up new eye wear they were more concerned with demanding that myself and my son change our already placed face masks out with new ones!!! The process we had to go through jus to get to take a seat was rediculious on top of all that she expected me to sign in with a ink pen that had not been disinfected or replaced from the last user......Very dissatisfied and really hope for the better of the business that they return to quality of service that they had in the past.
