I had a retinal detachment in 2017and saw Dr Kondapalli for my after surgery care. He has always been very pleasant, thorough and knowledgeable. I am very pleased with Dr Kondapalli's care.

I've been getting injections for quite sometime now and I must say that Dr. K and his staff makes me feel comfortable and welcome. I can only laugh from my last appointment as I was humored he and his assistants humorous banter. I left the room with a huge smile on my face despite just having a shot in my eye. I had a bad experience with this Dr. the waiting room is dismal. The woman taking my information at the window was very nice. The waiting area is horrendous. It is an old bank and looks like it has not been updated since built 50 years ago. The woman who checked my eyes was OK but I felt she was rushed. It was my first visit and nothing much was explained. She did glaucoma readings but did not tell me the results. A vision check was done and she took my glasses to read the prescription and she did not tell me the results. The staff is stiff and robotic. While waiting for the Dr I could hear everything in the next room about shots in the patient's eyes and how a different shot would be more expensive bit more helpful in the long run for him. His companion left the room and he had his shot. The Dr came into my exam room and seemed OK. He read my notes and checked my eyes and said I had early dry macular degeneration, asked if I had questions and answered them well. I kept thinking of shots in my eyes in the future. I told the Dr I had cataract surgery in Jan and have had trouble every since. I have EBMD and trouble with that, Fuch's Dystrophy and possibly high eye pressure and now this, and I felt my eyes were crap. He told me " anyone in that waiting room out there would be glad to have your vision." That statement shows a complete lack of empathy for me as a patient and is totally unacceptable. I came to this group because my husband sees Dr Abassi and has always been treated with kindness and respect. I will not return to this Dr.

I didn't wait long to be called to have my eyes checked to read the chart on the wall. Nor did I have to wait at all for someone to take a picture of my eyes and wait for Dr. Kondapolli . He did laser treatment on my right, then I was finished with my appointment. I really like Dr. Kinda polling and I trust him with my eyes.

Another pleasant visit! Took a bit longer than usual but the result is alway the same. Great customer service and a wonderful atmosphere. Met new people while sitting in the waiting area once again. As usual Dr. K was very kind and gentle! Kudos to you and your staff for making your patients feel comfortable and welcome.
