Vision Mart

The girl at the desk is very lazy and rude would not get me started on getting glasses while I was waiting, literally refused to help in any way, the only bright spot here is the young guy behind the desk otherwise I'd avoid this place altogether. The display with the glasses are filthy and disorganized as well, the selections are outdated, not to mention it took a month to get the glasses. My first time doing business with them will definitely be my last.

I had a great experience at the vision mart on 130 e cap , the two ladies that be in the front one with locs and the other had a short pink hair i didn't catch their names but they were amazing and sweet . but the other older lady is something so rude if she don't like her job no one told her to be there . but thank you other girls for the great experience!

Tina, Bryan & Mauline did a wonderful job assisting me with all my vision needs they went above and beyond to make sure I was a satisfied customer i have been going here for years and will continue to do so just for the great customer service alone thank you guys for all that you do

i just had an appointment there a few days ago there was a young lady with blonde hair who treated me and my kids extremely well ! Only place i like going to

This place is low class. They still have glasses from when I was a kid saying those the one your insurance cover . The ones for $20 more out of pocket should be the free ones. They try and give people the glasses know one will wear so that you can spend money to get a pair that should be covered with your insurance. They didn't measure my face to make sure my glasses would fit. The guy told me the way they fit on your face is the way they come. Where they do that at. You walk in the lady never get up and help she sit down and roll around in the chair and barely want to help. This place need to close down and start over with upgrades or get better employees and glasses. They still haven't updated their eye wear. It feels like a place for beginners who has no experience but trying to run a business.

I love coming here the staff that they have now is a wonderful change! Please keep it that way. Mauline assisted me with picking out a pair that I absolutely love! If I ever have a problem they address it immediately and helping in way possible r rather I walk in or have an appointment! Thanks to the staff for everything you guys are exceptional keep up the Good Work!

I don't recommend this place to anyone who values their eyesight and eye health... Telehealth for optometry is to say the least questionable, lacks consistent accuracy, and medical integrity. I initially went to this VisionMart in 2021- there was a big gap in between my previous script (~2 years) at the time and I anticipated the worst. My vision declined but not dramatically for what they'd anticipate given the delay in my exams. The staff employed at this time was very kind and friendly. It was one of my more pleasant times doing this truly. But come this last visit at the end of 2022 I was appalled by the exam results and the treatment by the staff- one woman in particular but I can't recall her name. I was given a script that showed I barely had 20/40 vision in one eye and 20/30 in the other. Thankfully I was given a referral to an actual optometrist in a more reputable location. Turns out my glasses from around ~2019 (prior this Vision Mart fiasco) were closer to my current prescription I have today. I thankfully broke the pair I had gotten from Vision Mart in 2021 leading up to my 2022 exam and had the previous 2019 glasses as a spare. Before I left I was almost pressured to purchase a pair of glasses by this woman in which I questioned if I should given I'd have another exam done and I am allotted one pair a year with my insurance. Before I left I was being demeaned due to the poor results from my exam by her and told- "legally you're not allowed to even drive" a few time by the same lady. As a person who's had glasses since early childhood I have dreaded getting glasses and doing the exam because I was heavily bullied. I still feel anxious about the eye exams to this day and having her say this to me was for one unprofessional and unnecessary given I wasn't stopped from driving home that day- which I had just purchased a vehicle and that made me feel so unsettled with myself and my future driving as I left shaken up. In the end, my appointment with the actual optometrist went smoothly and I was able to meet damn near 20/20 vision during the test with the little red house machine. I was also told by them to stay away from the telehealth exams given they weren't very accurate or precise. I am thankful my vision didn't deteriorate after wearing the wrong prescription for a year and I am blessed to have gotten a referral to someone who knows what they're doing and uphold some standard and professionalism- so I didn't have an even more off the mark prescription for an additional year and headaches and eye strains. Also a funny additional reason to not trust the credibility of the staff- of course, the same woman told me after looking at my eyes in one of the machines that she could barely tell there was an abrasion (I had mutilated my eye early 2022 trying the contacts I had gotten from them). Eye abrasions heal really quickly- like in the span of a day or a few days. Please for the love of the gods do not go here or bring any child here for their telehealth optometry! I know the staff aren't accountable for who decide that this be the means of how the exams go but given they lack knowledge regarding this profession and basic eye education in addition to being treated poorly it goes to show another reason to just seek out alternative locations where you can have a genuine and accurate exam performed. Don't choose to jeopardize anything with the health of your eyes or future of being able to see for the sake of location or insurance.
