Dr. Neilitz is an outstanding doctor and I would highly recommend him. I have seen him twice for different surgeries. One in the inner part of my eye lid and another time in the outside. Both times he explained the various options very well. I tend to be a bit anxious but he talked me through as he did the work. Both times I had very little if any pain and it healed completely that I can't see a thing. I am so glad I went to him and when it is time for me to have cataract surgery, he is the doctor i will go to!

Dr. Neilitz is professional and kind; experienced and thoughtful. It's been four days since my appointment and his scheduler has been out of the office all week and there is no one else trained to help schedule procedures... Ascension needs to provide better follow up. But that comment should not be directed at Dr. Neilitz. I've had several procedures done with him and he's been wonderful each time.

The Doctor was extremely nice but very rushed and only saw him for maybe 2 minutes. Answer to my question was generalized. But somehow I felt confident he would do an awesome job. The scheduler was rushed, spoke fast and seemed wanted me to move along. The gal I saw prior to the Dr was awesome!

Dr Neilitz and his staff were excellent. I had been there for a second opinion and my experience there was professional and pleasant. They took the time to explain everything and made me feel very welcome.
I am very glad to have went there, not only did he explain everything in detail, present me with my options, and complete a thorough exam, he treated me like I was a human being and not just another patient he needed to see before he could go home for the night.

Dr Neilitz did my eyelid surgery on 01/08/24. I'm ten days out & had sutures removed yesterday. Eyelids & underneath face still pretty swollen, but apparently it will take up to three months for full recovery? No problems as of today & don't expect any. Dr Neilitz is personable and recommend him to others
