Purchased over 2k in multiple pairs of glasses for myself and my wife a while back and recently noticed my sunglasses lenses were not the same quality or tint match from one another. I brought them to another company to verify this. I stopped in to show this to the owner today and all was said was sorry! What? Many mistakes were make with my order consistently mixing up the wrong lens/frame combos waiting for many weeks. I was patient with him due to his unorganized system but determined now he is a dishonest person that sold me cheap lenses for top prices and doesn't care for an extra buck. He lost a customer from this experience and can't be trusted.

Very helpful staff and a beautiful store. Made a purchase of designer frames and specialty lenses. The interactions with the staff went smooth and they stayed in constant contact, even sent me pictures of frames when I wasn't able to come into the store at one point. They did everything great in terms of customer service and they follow-up after the purchase to make sure we are happy, which we are.

I've worn glasses for 35+ years and I've never had such a great experience as I've had with James at Eye Q. I asked him to help pick frames for me and his recommendations were spot on. He has an immpecable sense of style and taste which is apparent in his personal appearance and the decor of his shop. The lab he uses to make the lenses creates the best lenses I've ever had, my vision is better than ever. James is also an absolute master at adjusting glasses for the most perfect fit. The best experience I've ever had purchasing glasses.

Great prices and great service. If my glasses start sitting crooked, James adjusts them for free. He also has good style sense. I get compliments on the frames he picks out for me. Local business equals good service.

James went above and beyond for me when I ran out of contacts. He gave me free trial contacts while I was waiting for my next appointment to get me through. This was much appreciated! At my appointment, he remembered our prior conversation and asked how things were going with school. He is very personable and great to work with. I highly recommend going to EYE-Q Optical!

We took our whole family to this classy small business in Port Washington. The optometrist really listened, and the technician was knowledgeable, friendly, and patient. We were clearly informed of discounts and insurance coverages. The selection of glasses / contacts was great, and we are excited to get our new look! Thank you!

I visited Eye Q and James Doylestown last year, in fact, I may have been his first customer. He was amazing, although he was still setting up shop, he took care of my every need. James is very professional, knowledgeable and caring. I again visited him this year about the same time of year. My wife and I had some issues with our glasses. Even though the problem was difficult, James fixed the problem by custom grinding and fitting a lense in my wife's glasses in one day! We were leaving town, so he went well beyond expectations to take care of us, and the workmanship was perfect. We will continue to go to James for all our optical needs via mail from Arizona. We'll mail frames to him for what ever leneed we need, and come to port washington for check ups.Thank you James. There still are amazing people and business folks in this country.

My 12 year old daughter had to go in for contact class. No one in our home has ever worn them. Lorraine was INCREDIBLY patient, kind, and friendly. She went above and beyond with customer service. All employees we've interacted with for eye exams and ordering glasses have been stellar as well.
