ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND!! My appointment was 45 minutes before closing but no one rushed me! In fact, everyone took extra time with me to make sure I wasn't rushed. I cannot rave about the staff enough. Best experience I've had at an eye exam and this Visionworks is my go-to now.

Vision works Associates has excellent sense of humor and they will not let any walk out with out being satisfied .the optometrist is very kind and gentle spoken voice.I lost weight over the summer and my glasses were looking too big .so thank God Vision Works has 100 day return for glasses. So I also took a picture with my first glasses without my hat.Then I took a second picture with the new ones I will be receiving in a few weeks.The Vision works Associate helped me pick out a nice pair. I am happy with service at Vision works in Shorewood Wisconsin.

As most of the other reviews mentioned, the front desk lady was very rude. However, my main issue wasn't with her but with the other woman who handles the payments. When I asked her to explain the prices to me, she kept sighing heavily and saying things like, "You're making this harder than it has to be." First of all, I've never been to VisionWorks before, so of course I had questions and concerns about billing and pricing. I wouldn't have needed to ask anything if someone had actually picked up the phone when I tried to schedule my appointment and explained the fees and process ahead of time. Second, "making this harder than it has to be"? Girl, your job is to sit at a desk and handle paperwork--what's so hard about that? With a good night's rest and two days of training, anyone could do your job. You just seem lazy. If it's really that hard, then quit! I was simply asking straightforward questions, and she spoke to me like I was stupid. Maybe I was a bit slow with my words since I'd only had around four hours of sleep, but that's no reason to talk to me like I'm a toddler. And don't even get me started on all the eye-rolling--she's lucky I didn't roll her eyes right back into place. Honestly, both of the front desk ladies need to be fired and replaced with people who actually want to do their jobs and help patients get vision care without acting like it's rocket science.

My experience at the Shorewood location was probably the worst customer service experience I've ever had. I walk into the store and the front desk person(Raven) is talking with another customer so I proceeded to shop like I planned that morning, next thing I know I'm half way through the store and she beckons me back to the desk saying she can help me up front I stated with what, I'm shopping . Then she proceeded to make herself feel good by asking if I had an appointment smh, I again stated I'm shopping and if I did have an appointment , I would've stopped at the front desk. I continued shopping and wanted to know about current promotions going, I continue shopping. I picked a pair of glasses for purchase and now Raven who was asking a lot of unnecessary questions has now shutdown and refusing to service me for her own reasons and told me she would have her manager (Kelly) check me out, I said oh great where is your manager, she then tells me oh she'll be here in 30 minutes she's at a coffee shop. Another store rep was courteous enough to help even though ordering eyewear was not her job task. I thanked the lady who was helping out after deciding I would not spend any money in a store where the hired help was rude, refusing to serve, and profiling. As I was exiting the the manager walks in sits her coffee down and asks what's the problem, which again was poor customer service, I explained briefly my experience and she was nonchalant about the situation, no apology no nothing just pure resistance. I told her I see why her entry level employee gave poor customer service because of the way she as a manager responded to a customer complaint. At that point I knew I was being racial profiled in that store. I called the corporate office to log my complaint and I was called back by the district manager whom I asked if I could place her on hold for one second and her response was as long as it's a second because she has an appointment in 1/2 hour. Again poor customer service. I explained briefly the interaction and she was equally as dismissive to my complaint of poor service and stated she has never had any complaints like this and I brought to her attention per Google reviews the front desk person has been an issue, she then says that the Google reviews are false and from previous employees and shi working to get them removed. I couldn't believe this was how the district manager was conducting my complaint. I told her the whole interaction from Raven to her was poor and I see why no one was being held accountable. I will never shop again at any Visionworks thanks to the these three.

Awesome experience overall, the staff was extremely friendly and very welcoming. I arrived a little early for my appointment but, they were able to get me in right away, the staff did a great job covering my benefits and options. The doctor that performed my eye exam was great. I left my appointment very satisfied. Now I'm patiently waiting for my new glasses and contact lenses to be ready! I would definitely come back here.

A great place. Everybody was kind and made sure I was getting help. Dr. Jurgen was wonderful and very thorough. I felt very safe. I had a great experience getting an eye exam, and I don't think I ever had such a superior experience like the one I received from the professionals here. Thank you!

Wonderful people that work there and they take care of you. The staff up front was very attentive and they took the time to explain about the different prices of the glasses even helping me pick out the frames that best fit my face. The doctor was quick, courteous and very professional but also very friendly and he talked you through the appointment. That was just wonderful. And the young lady that started the eye exam? Can I just say I don't think I've ever had that kind of treatment whenever I got glasses before that's why I keep coming back. Keep up the good work. Thank you guys.
