I had a very upsetting experience at the Wisconsin Rapids MyEyeDr. I was told my contacts were ready, so I drove over an hour despite dealing with a sciatica flare-up related to my disability. When I arrived (around 8:30 a.m.), a dark-haired staff member was rude, dismissive, and cut me off multiple times. She refused to call her supervisor or the tech for clarification, refused to ship my contacts, refused to look in the back room for my contacts and even refused to sign a simple mileage reimbursement form verifying that I was in the building. Instead, I was told to "come back tomorrow" which was not possible given my disability and the distance. Another staff member (a blonde employee) did try to help and was very nice, but overall I left in tears feeling humiliated. As a patient with a disability, being treated this way was unacceptable. Patients deserve professionalism, respect, and reasonable accommodation. I hope management takes this seriously because no one else should have to go through what I did.

Average eye doctor. Haven't had any issues during exams or picking up contacts but I did have a big problem while purchasing contacts. Had my yearly prescription checkup before ordering contacts and they quoted me a "year supply" of contacts for $300. I have no idea how expensive contacts are so I decided to take the night and see if that's somewhat reasonable before ordering them. Turns out it was on-par for my prescription but when I called back the same quote I received 14 hours ago is now above $500?!? Apparently the team member working with me failed to mention that the $300 contacts were only that price if I pay for them as a "package" with my exam which was NEVER mentioned to me and NOT on any document. That would have been great to know before donating them another $200. Most likely will not be back. **Updated due to MyEyeDr reaching out and refunding me the $200 due to this review.**

I've tried to establish care here. Twice now I've been cancelled, first time I showed up no one called. This morning I got a call 15 minutes before my appointment saying "the doctor called in". The doctor needs to not practice if she isn't available to her patients.

Eye Dr and technician were great but manager and support staff was very poor. I waited over 45 minutes while the support person tried to figure out my contact lens situation. Manager was rude when I told her I was upset. Now 2 months later they send me another bill for $26.I had already paid over$120 and they charged my insurance over $300 all this for a simple eye exam for contact lenses And to top it off they changed my prescription and I feel like my vision is worse. I will never go back there! Update they did credit the bill and did make an effort to resolve

Mine and my children's experience at this office has been outstanding. The manager Aly and her team have excellent customer service skills as well as thorough product knowledge. They always take as much time as needed to find the right glasses and contacts after the eye exam. I felt completely confident that the eye doctor had completed an extensive exam she took the time to explain a condition that I have and was very reassuring. Would recommend 100%!

Have always avoided going to get my eyes worked on for decades but with age I figured it was time to finally get them checked out and the staff was very receptive to a new patient and were able to talk me through everything that was taking place and politely answered all questions. The technician, Breeanne, was very thorough and didn't give me any "long winded answers". The doc was precise in what she was looking for and helped make a plan of attack for myself moving forward with my ever changing vision needs. Overall, would definitely recommend as the GM, Aly, made it an enjoyable experience. Happy with this choice.

Great staff, lovely atmosphere. If they can go above and beyond to help you they will. The doctors here truly do use all their years of education and experience to help you the patient. The doctor I had today used her own life experience with having a astigmatism to get me a different pair of contacts that are actually comfortable to wear, and for that I am grateful.

Aly has always been super helpful when I am there! I cannot see when trying on new frames and she always knows the perfect ones to pick out! Jasmine has also helped me my last few visits and is wonderful!! I come from customer service myself and this is so great to see! Thank you ladies!
