Dr. Howell and his staff were absolutely fantastic. They all took the time with me and with my daughter to make us comfortable and understand what we needed to do.

I ordered my glasses from Hometown eye care and optical (I had my eyes tested in Thermopolis. So used the Rx from Thermopolis in the original order). I had issues with being able to see distance clearly when the glasses arrived. The staff and the doctor went above and beyond to ensure when I reordered the glasses the lenses would be just what I needed. I cannot recommend them enough. Great service!!!

I had a wonderful experience today at hometown eye Care! Dr Walton was great! Shannon at the front desk was great and very thorough, and everybody there was just so polite I recommend this place to all!

I have tried several eye doctors around the Riverton area and by far have been happiest with Dr. Walton's care. The staff at Kister Eye Care are great and care about the way they treat their customers. I was impressed with the individual care I received. Honestly, I felt that my eye care mattered and that Dr. Walton wanted the best for me.

Very pleased with how thorough Dr. Walton & his staff are with eye care. Very professional & personal. So fortunate to have a great eye doctor in Riverton. Loved their special on sunglasses with purchase of regular glasses. Highly recommend!

Simply the best. Dr. Walton, Anna, and the rest of the staff are so outstanding that I wouldn't trust my family's eyes to anyone else.

This place was horrible. The eye doctor himself was kinda nice but the staff was awful!! I contacted them ahead of time to see if they were a preferred provider as I was new to the area, and I provided them with my insurance provider and number. She called me back and assured me they were and set up an appointment . After my appointment they told me there were no benefits for contacts on my plan, which I knew was wrong . She insisted she was right , was horribly rude and even read me the benefits off a page she had printed, while I was trying to talk to her. I nicely told the front desk lady there is something wrong and she told me I was the one who was wrong and if I believed that so much I could pay full price for the service . I saw the paper she read me and I said ma'am that's the problem, because that company you are saying isn't my insurance provider. Again I was told I was wrong. I left without ordering my contacts and called my insurance provider while I was sitting in my car. They told me I do have contact benefits , so I walked back into the clinic and told them I was on the phone with my insurance provider and there must be a problem on their end, as I have had the same insurance for 6 years and they could speak to them if they wanted to. Again, the lady told Me no, she wouldn't talk to any insurance company, laughed at me and Said I was wrong . I also had to pay an unusually high copay , which I knew was not right either but I was stuck at this point because she said it's due at service . I paid it and left. Come to find out, when the lady at the eye clinic couldn't find my insurance in her "system" she looked me up by name and date of birth and found a discount program that I get with my medical insurance and she assumed that's what I was using, when in reality I had never used it and had never even heard of it. Plus, I already gave her my CORRECT insurance provider and my policy number, so She knew which insurance company I had , as I told her when I originally called. So I called the eye clinic back and told them what I figured out and she said that apparently that WAS the mixup and they wanted my business even though they weren't in network for my insurance company, I could still order contacts at full price . I told her I would never be back because 1, I knew there was a problem at no one even bothered to notice that my insurance card was different than the insurance they had me pulled up under even though I told them that wasn't correct , 2, I Was treated horribly by the front desk lady and 3, I asked them over and over to double check as there was a problem and I got told I was remembering wrong . Sorry, it this place is awful and I will never be back.
