Have been going to Dr Michelson for a long time , he did my lasik surgery and I was extremely satisfied with results. We my cataracts appeared he waited till they were ready to be removed and successfully removed them and placed lens and my vision is as good now as it was when I had the lasik done. I am totally satisfied with the care he had provided for me.
We were searching for the best from the best for the cataract surgery for my husband.
After few calls to other offices, where we didn't feel they provide the care we wished for, we called Dr Marc's office.
The lady who picked up the phone was very kind and professional- she gave us all the details and provided us with the complete information about the price ( others would send us to find out on our own the cost of the facility where the procedure will take place)
During our initial, over the phone conversation, we booked the first dr appointment ( 3 weeks wait) and the surgery date ( 1 week later after the consultation with the doctor)- which was a very nice surprise
The price was regular, but appointments fast
The office has convenient and free parking ( looks busy but we managed to park our bigger vehicle with no problem ). Same with the hospital where the surgery had been performed
When you approach the front deck - the ladies welcome you with a big smile- check in is fast and easy.
The place is very clean.
Waiting time is short.
When in the doctor room, you are very well taken care of - everyone is knowledgeable and helpful
Then when you are ready Dr Marc comes
He is just simply awesome
In his presence you feel that everything is going to be okay
He is very professional, kind.
My husband couldn't see at all with his one eye, he is also a smoker which is putting him at higher risk but the surgery was successful - he just needed little more time to recover.
The hospital was great too - everything went smoothly
Now, let me share something not directly related with the surgery
I want to acknowledge what kind of person Dr Marc is - he took the time to talk to us, to understand what we need, he takes his time to see his patients as a person - not just an eye that has to be fixed.
If you like the whole package - great eye doctor with a VIBE - he is your Doctor.
We highly recommend him and his office and if we need anything eyes related we will be back.
Thank you Dr Marc and the team
The staff was the most professional, polite, staff and office ever. They were on time, efficient, answered every question, explained every test, explained the upcoming procedures with great detail.
The staff that did my refraction and measurements were super. One member was training another with great detail and kindness. She explained every step with the most important details.
Dr Michaelson was extremely kind and explained my exam and needed procedure. Every step was detailed, no one was in a hurry or rushed me to be out of the way. I really appreciated the kindness, the time, and the explanations.
Quick and easy lscar tissue aser repair on right eye. Painless procedure. Dr Jennifer Michaelson was wonderful as was her assistants!
Everything went smooth. The procedure was explained in detail to me. I really like Dr Michelson she was really nice. The staff was nice also. Would highly recommend this office for all your eye care. Wish I had known about them prior to having my cataract surgery.
The staff here is great! All of them, from the receptionist to the doctor. However, I had Lasik two years ago and my eyes continue to revert back to their previous state. They do tell you this can happen. I had a procedure done last year to correct it. It only lasted about six - eight months and I was scheduled to have it again. This time, it's going to cost me $400 - insurance doesn't pay for any of this. Okay, I'm willing to pay the $400. They schedule me for 1 PM and said it would only take a few minutes - so I schedule an hour, just to be sure. At 2 PM, I still wasn't called back. I checked at the desk and there are two people still ahead of me. Why? Because they schedule everyone for that procedure, one time a month for the same time - 1 PM. Luck of the draw when you get in as to what time they'll get to you. I had to get back to work so I had to reschedule - they have one opening in November and one in December, both times did not work with my schedule, so I have to wait until January 28th at 1 PM to go back. The staff is great and I know this procedure can help people. I am frustrated with the scheduling methods and a little frustrated I have to pay for this after paying the initial cost to have it done.
My experience was excellent and the results of my cataract surgery are wonderful! From the time I called to make an appointment for a consultation, to the follow up appointment following my surgery, I was treated in a friendly, professional manner. The staff at the surgery center also gave me the best of care. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Marc Michelson!
I was nervous due to the fact that I had to be awake during an eye surgery, but the entire team put me at ease. I was surprised at how quickly the surgery happened and the enormous help it gave my eye. I am grateful to Dr Marc Michelson!
