America's Best Contacts & Eyeglasses

I've had nothing but the BEST customer service at America's best on 280. You're greeted with a genuine smile and made me feel so welcomed. Everyone is so professional, funny and down to earth. The optometrist is so sweet and does a fantastic job. I highly recommend this place for all of your eye care needs.

I had a wonderful experience at my recent eye exam at Americas Best located in the Brook Highlands shopping center in Birmingham/280. For the first time in my life, at 50, I can wear contacts and see! The staff were all super helpful and friendly, and their selection of glasses and sunglasses were great! I didn't realize they also carried designer brand glasses which is why I didn't visit earlier. I have found my new eye doctor! I feel like I should say for a $20 membership fee you receive 3 years of free eye exams and discounts on glasses and/or retail items. I bought 3 pairs of Ray Bans and two were 40% off! 5

I have been coming to Americas Best for a couple of years now and never had any problems until recently. Back in October I had extreme redness and dryness in my eyes and I knew it was time for a new prescription so I went to Americas Best for new contacts, glasses prescription and decided to also tell them about the redness in my eye(a). I was instructed to wear an eye mask and get eye drops. I did so, nothing helped. I started to notice a welp or place on my left eye, when I mentioned this to the Doctor & showed a picture of it to her she replied "this is not a cause of concern." She prescribed me some steroid eye drops and referred me out to a another eye doctor after several months of nothing working. Later that same week I begin to experience double vision so I made an appointment at a private eye care center. They see me and proceed to tell me "I have the driest eyes they have ever seen, & I have an open wound on my eye & they were so dry I lost sensitivity in them." I am now on 4 different eye drops and getting treated correctly. The main reason I am making this Google review is to express my frustration with not being taken seriously and to express how confusing it is that an open wound on my eye was missed after several eye examinations.

Manager Camryn was incredibly friendly and helpful! Everyone there is so nice. It's rare to find any business where everyone is not only super friendly but also goes out of their way to help. I had run over my old glasses with my car, and one of the technicians took 10 minutes to work some kind of miracle on my poor old specs so I would have something to drive safely with! Just over the top service!

I just got my glasses and couldn't be more pleased with the service crew at this location! Camryn and Rhonda are the BEST!! 5 STAR and treat you like friends, not customers. If only every business was this way

Stephanie and Jazmine are very professional and efficient. My eyes had changed so I needed new glasses. I came out with two beautiful and new pairs of glasses. I am very happy.

What a lovely experience I had today getting my eyes checked! These people are professional and fast! Shout out to Camryn she will treat you right! I highly recommend
