One of the most thorough exams I have ever had. They even used a simulator to determine my eyeglasses prescription which I found fascinating Dr. Pettie was incredibly nice and thorough and informative. He provided answers for any and all questions I would ask. His staff was, likewise, very friendly and helpful.

I don't recommend this doctor. He didn't spend enough time to do the checking. It took 5 mins to get the description done for lenses, and another 5 mins to finish the medical exam part. I had serious doubts on his results. We went to see a different doctor next week. It turned out for the lenses, we need bifocal. And there are two medical conditions that we will need to address! We are in the process of seeing treatments from UAB Drs.
I checked the medical bill today. It was much higher than other Dr's. I was even charged for something not covered by insurance. What could a regular eye/medical exam has that is not covered by insurance?
I am not the person who would spend time to write a review. But I feel the urgent to do so. Please be good to your eyes and see a different doctor.
