My first visit was yesterday. I drove from Decatur. I found this place from an online search. The location is great and very easy to find. The office was very clean & presentable. The receptionist was welcoming and friendly. The Technician (Ray) was also extremely kind and helpful. I'm glad that I chose AVC. My visit was with Dr. Kloess. He was very pleasant, honest, knowledgeable, attentive and thorough. I'm experiencing red eyes along with some crusting. He examined my eyes very carefully, ran some tests and shared information with me that I had never received from my optometrist. He explained to me about my eye pressure and the effect it can have on my eyes. He sent me home with some drops. I will go back in a few months to see if there's any changes. I am so glad that I found The Alabama Vision Center and that I was connected with Dr. Kloess. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

Only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that he referred me to another Dr in the practice which was fine but when I left I had no clue what was going on with my eyes & why I was referred to the other Dr. I asked him & his assistant but was told that the other Dr will let me know. Just didn't want to wait 6 wks to find out why I can't see well & always feel like I've got sand in my eyes. Doesn't affect how I feel about Dr Kloess & trust him 100l%..

My vision is so crisp and clear in the fixed eye and I can't wait to see how beautiful everything looks after the other eye is done!
