The LASIK Vision Institute

Ok, where do I start about this amazing experience I had with the Lasik Vision Institute. I was nervous but always wanted to have this done. Did my research and this place had the better reviews. I call made an appointment for a consultation and was not disappointed. Rob is one of the trainers and he provides excellent care and customer to make you feel at ease. He knows his stuff and even tho he was training someone they trained with confidence which made me feel good about being there. Dr Stephenson was very patient with making sure I understood the decision that I was going with. Destiny was very nice when explaining the financial part and knowledgeable. Mya and Gabriella were new but had so much confidence and delivered very good welcoming customer. Dr. O'Day was my surgeon with the assistant of Rob who talked me through every step of the surgery. It was very quick easy and painless. Only thing is like they say once the numbness wear off it can be a lil painful but nothing unbearable. I'm 5 days in Friday the 13th (lol) and doing wonderful. Kudos to this amazing staff for making my experience a 10 star experience.

I had LASIK done and honestly couldn't be happier with my experience. From start to finish, the staff made me feel calm, informed, and well cared for. The procedure itself was quick and much easier than I expected. By my next-day follow-up, I had 20/20 vision, and the doctor said everything looked great. Recovery has been smooth, and every step of aftercare was clearly explained. If you're nervous or on the fence about LASIK, I truly recommend it. It has already been life-changing for me, and I'm so grateful I did it.

I was nervous at first, but my consultation was very extensive and informative. The doctors and staff were very friendly. My procedure lasted about ten minutes. There was some irritation for about five hours after the procedure. Very sensitive to light afterwards, so wear the provided sunglasses. Use the drops as prescribed. It has not been a full 24 hours yet, and I am seeing 20/20 and my eyes feel normal again. I recommend this procedure. The LASIK Vision Institute has given me freedom.

Having worn glasses and contacts since I was a kid I was super nervous going into the surgery, turns out there was no need to be! Now it's not even 24 hours later and my vision is 20-20 for the first time since elementary school. Lasik honestly feels like magic and the people in Birmingham were the most helpful and kind people! I would recommend it to anyone!

Everything has been great! I rescheduled my consultation and had to return to get the surgery 2 days letter instead of same day. They apologized several times because it was a error on the call center's behalf. So be sure to confirm your surgery day if you change like I did. Nice and friendly staff and physicians. Convenient and affordable. No pain, just a little anxiety from having to hold still and feeling like someone was peeling onions afterwards for a few hours. Surgery Friday. Normal weekend fun. Much clearer Monday morning! I'm free! Thank you!

Just had my procedure done December 19, 2025. I'm so excited about my outcome. Dr is very knowledgeable and personal about each patient. I would highly recommend having the procedure done. Thank you all so much to bringing stability back in my life.

I had mono vision surgery. My surgeon was great supportive and caring. All the staff here are friendly and patient. Less than 12 hours after surgery I was crocheting without readers!!

The staff is amazing, my procedure went perfect. I was a bit anxious but the doctor talked me through it. I am very pleased with my results and would definitely recommend!!!
