TriaVision Birmingham

I did not want it to come to this--but I have had such a bad experience with TriaVision. I had my first appointment in August of 2025 and it is now February 2026 and I'm still receiving bills. I have paid more than I have ever paid in my entire life for contacts. It has been near impossible to get in contact with anyone regarding contacts, bills, etc. over the phone or in person. You show up to try to talk to someone in person and...oh, they just randomly decided to close early just because they didn't have patients. When you do call and leave several voicemails over days/weeks/months, no one returns your calls. I had one person return my call several months ago at 9pm at night. She apologized to me about how the person before her just up and quit her job so she was catching up, that's why no one was returning my calls. This should not be. BUT she was attentive to my needs at the moment and finally got my contacts ordered after about 6 months of waiting. This has nothing to do with Dr. Smith. She was absolutely fantastic and it saddens me that I need to find a new doctor just because of everything else going on with TriaVision. I highly recommend her, but do not recommend TriaVision. A recommendation would be that TriaVision carefully reasses their customer service and pays attention to how they can respond to their patients in a timely manner, like stated on your voicemails. I'm not a person that complains, but this went above and beyond what anyone should have to deal with.

Amazing service every time I go. This is the most friendly and professional doctor's office I have ever been. I can't say enough good things about my experiences.

Having needed to obtain eye care advice twice during the last 6 months, I have to say that Triavision is impossible to communicate with. I have left messages for nurses, the doctor, and the Office Manager to contact me about my eye issues. No one answers the phone, returns voicemail messages or answers portal messages. It appears that the practice is to ignore patients unless they are in the office for an appointment and even then Triavision isn't expedient in keeping appointments. For a practice to say they are patient centric in the service they provide, I will say that this is inefficient healthcare and communication and clearly doesn't support having a patient involved in their individualuzed needs. Maybe I need to go back to Callahan Eye Care to ensure my eye are needs are being met.

Dr Carol Rosenstiel is the optometrist That I see at triavision. She is the best optometrist I have ever seen and has given me the best possible vision that I have ever been able to have with my multiple eye problems. She listens she's patient. She's kind and she's the best optometrist.

Wonderful staff at this office. They truly care for you. I was traveling for work. My coworker who was traveling with me had a problem with their hard contact lens. Come to find out that my coworker also uses this dr office. I called Melissa at this office since she has always help me. She talked us through what could be done to solve the issue. She was able to help my coworker out!

I had a fantastic experience as a first-time patient at TriaVision. The staff was welcoming and efficient, making the entire visit smooth and stress-free. Dr. Rosenstiel was professional, thorough, and took the time to explain everything clearly. I felt confident in her care and appreciated his attention to detail. The clinic was clean, modern, and well-organized. I highly recommend TriaVision and Dr. Rosenstiel for anyone looking for top-notch eye care!

Although the doctors and staff of the downtown Birmingham group are great, the clinic inside Callahan hospital has some serious operational & scheduling issues. They are so overworked, you can expect your wait time to be 3-5 hours to be seen. I always have to plan my whole day around this appointment because it takes several hours.

Stacey Etheredge is WONDERFUL! She always welcomes you with a smile! She is so knowledgeable and works to make sure you are taken care of. Pls give her a raise! Thank you
