I've been in twice recently and both times were great. They all took their time with my daughter who was getting contacts for the first time. Answered all our questions and taught her what to do, we haven't had a single issue using their instructions. We went back for glasses a couple weeks later and they helped her choose a really cute modern frame that fit her face amazingly. The Dr and staff are great and the reason I've sent 3 other family members to them.

I had an awesome experience at the Walmart Vision Center in Trussville. I came in expecting the usual rushed service you get at some places, but it was the total opposite. The staff took their time explaining everything to me without making me feel overwhelmed or pressured. You can tell they actually enjoy helping people.
The eye exam was smooth, and the doctor really listened to what I was saying instead of just flying through the process. She explained my prescription in a way that made sense and answered all my questions.
When it came to picking out frames, someone was right there offering suggestions based on what looked good and what felt right--big win in my book. I ended up finding a pair I probably never would've picked on my own, and now I love them.
Prices were way better than I expected, especially considering the quality. And even though they were a little busy, everything still moved quickly and efficiently.
Honestly, this place makes getting glasses way less stressful. I'll definitely be back when it's time for my next pair.

We went here to get my daughter some glasses since she broke hers at school and had a wonderful experience! They had a wonderful selection of glasses for everyone and especially a teenage girl. The staff were super friendly and eager to help us. I was also surprised by how affordable they were! Such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back for the rest of the family!

1 star for cost, 5 stars to the Dr, 5 stars for service, 1 star for the time it took to actually get my glasses.
Positives-
It was very easy to make an appointment and the person on the phone was very sweet. Once I arrived I was greeted warmly and pretty much immediately seen. The doctor is the star here! She is amazing! I feel like I got the exact prescription that I needed and I've never seen better! Once I was done the lady who helped me pick my glasses and the details about them was also so kind! She was very thorough, attentive, and have me great advice!
Negatives-
I have pretty good vision insurance and I still payed a substantial amount for 1 pair of Walmart brand glasses. I do have astigmatism but everything else was covered by my insurance so I'm really unsure how the cost was so high. Also my appointment was on a Monday, and I did not get my glasses until the following Wednesday.
Ultimately I will go back to the Dr if she's still there next time, but I will be getting my glasses somewhere else but mostly just because of the cost.

I've been to a lot of different places but none can compare to the Walmart vision center in Trussville Alabama. The staff here is extremely friendly and the prices are phenomenal. The turn around time is not to be believed. The frame selection is some of the best around. The discounts you get on multiple pairs can't be beat! I would recommended this place to anyone!
