Dr. Woods did my cataract surgery on both eyes. I complained about seeing hallows at night a lot worse than before surgery. As well as periods of blurry vision. His post opp exams he said everything was perfect. Then I go to my regular eye doctor at Marx optical and in less than five seconds he told me why I have these problems. Dr. Woods got the lens in my right eye off center. Now in less than a year I'm having to wear glasses again. You can't tell me that if in seconds my eye doctor could see this problem that this quack Woods didn't see it on the exam. He simply didn't want to own up to his mistake and fix it.
Dr. Woods is an amazing Ophthalmologist. His office staff are warm and welcoming, yet very knowledgeable. When facing cataract surgery, I was understandably nervous. The numerous questions I had were readily answered in a professional manner by both the staff and Dr. Woods. The surgery was worry free and successful. The follow up appointment included a refresher of post surgery introductions along with a thorough examination of my eye. I'm having the other eye done next week and have complete confidence in the entire process. If you need an eye specialist, I highly recommend Dr. Charles Woods.
Sat for over an hour and a half for recurring issue that my husband had previously been surgically removed by Dr Woods back in March. Once back in the exam room, he was given no explanation as to why it came back & was just told if it gets any worse or we don't like the way it looks, it can be removed again. Otherwise we can just let it be. No other explanation.
Was also presented with a surgery bill to pay Dr Woods separately from the surgery center that was paid in full on the day of surgery only to be told that we were to pay him separately from the surgery center. So another $350 AFTER THE FACT for something that wasn't successfully solved the first time.
Literally a waste of time and money for no answers; just more problems.
The Nurses and assistants are outstanding . They made my visit extremely pleasant .
After trying for nearly a year to see someone about my cataract I was referred here. It was fine at first.
I missed a surgery appointment due to a migraine that had me throwing up. We tried calling the day of and never got an answer.
Doctor dropped me as a patient. Now I have to start the entire process all over again.
Zero compassion or human empathy. Avoid.
I honestly have never seen a more patient and compassionate staff in ANY doctor's office. All doctors have long wait times. If you have a bad experience with their front office, I'm betting you caused it. HIGHLY recommend them!
My experience has been wonderful, Dr. Woods & his staff have helped me so much & everyone is so nice. I will use Dr.Woods from now on
Dr Woods is an excellent Eye doctor & his entire staff is a professional & caring group. Would highly recommend!
