I had an issue with my contacts being shipped to me. Apparently the USPS in Kentucky that they use to ship the orders had an explosion. Many of the orders were lost or never shipped. Renita and Christalyn at my local Walmart vision center went above and beyond to solve this problem for me!! I was freaking out and they took all of my anxiety away.

TERRIBLE!! I never make reviews but I have too for this place! I do not recommend!! My eye sight is really bad and it always has been. I have had glasses since I was one. So I am very familiar going to the eye doctor every year! I moved to Alabama last year so had to find a new eye doctor so I just decided to go to Walmart because that's where I went in my hometown but that was definitely a mistake! Such a terrible experience! They were all commenting how bad my eye sight is and was making fun of me the whole time! Expeshally the doctor, she kept making all these comments to my face that I have terrible eyesight and she feels bad for me. I'm sorry that I have bad eyesight, can't really change that but they do not have to make me feel so uncomfortable and not being nice to me whatsoever.I thought they were suppose to be more mature and welcoming but Nop!! I will definitely be finding a new eye place to go too so if anyone has any recommendations let me know

In early October, my wife and I set up an appointment through Eve (Vision Center Manager) for early November. We saw her write the appointment down--both in the book and on a business card--and we left. We arrived on the morning of the appointment and we were told by Eve that I did not have an appointment and that the doctor would not be able to see me today. My wife told them that we had made the appointment a month ago, and I pulled the card out of my wallet. I was able to see the doctor--though they double-booked her--at my appointment time.
Both of our interactions with Eve felt strained. She seemed more interested in telling us about HER experiences with her vision loss rather than listening to our concerns and answering our questions. My wife had to steer her back to the intended topic several times.
The doctor was very thorough and enlightened me on my Visual Impairment and the probable cause behind it. She was the first doctor to connect my VI with any probable cause, despite the fact I was born with the disability. I feel the doctor is extremely competent in her field and would recommend her to anyone. The manager, however, needs to be replaced.

I really thought the whole staff took great care of me and it made me feel like , they care about my feelings and gave me a reassurance that I would be coming back for my next year appointment.. ..I thought they had a great selection of eye wear and the prices that complimented my budget.

Doesn't even deserve one star! Went to get contacts and glasses and the lady who was fitting me for glasses was very rude. She was treating me like a child and getting frustrated with me because i couldn't keep my eyes perfectly still for her. She kept snapping at me to be still and getting very rude with me. After a while of this I went off on her. I asked for a different person and waited for the next person available. This person was much nicer but when I asked for the lady's name so that I can call management and complain he said he was the manager. I was shocked that the manager was sitting next to us the entire time and not once chastised her for the way she was acting. I requested her name again and he would not give it to me. When I went back to get my glasses a week later I got the "manager" again and when trying on my glasses I mentioned it made me feel motion sick the way they were looking when I moved my head and he got smart with me telling me to be realistic... The eye doctor was very nice though. No complaints with her but everyone else was horrible. I will not be going back. I will take my prescription somewhere else.

I'm not sure if Dr Jane had a very bad day or just doesn't know how to talk with scared kids. When she walked into the room she did not address us AT ALL. My daughter, whose 8years old was worried about getting drops in her eyes and after trying to reassure my baby everything would be ok... I said ma'am could you please reassure her that everything will be ok. She said " yea (while she shrugged her shoulders)." with an apathetic attitude. I would've accepted being rescheduled(if she was having a bad day) than to deal with being treated like that. We did leave the appointment and I do NOT plan to reschedule! Would not recommend this optometrist for kids! IF I could give a half of a star I would bc I can deal with not being addressed but my baby's feelings are a different story!

Wow- 2 .3 stars and I Totally understand why! I had an appointment for the Day we were expecting Snow, I recieved a call on the day before canceling due to predicted weather- Understandable... I asked to buy 1 contact for my right eye and was told no, my prescription had expired- I have had problems with my right eye (which they knew). Rather than sell me one contact after THEY cancelled my appointment their choice for me would have been to wear a bad contact. Needless to say I chose another Doctor who took care of me that day very well!
