Alabama Vision Center at The Range

After a very frustrating initial consult with a well-reputed eye surgery office, I found Dr. Caroline Watson to be a breath of fresh air. Not only did she patiently sit with me during the initial consult, she AND her staff addressed my concerns and answered my questions with empathy and professionalism. Absolutely NO prideful remarks like I experienced elsewhere! Whereas the initial eye surgeon left me with significant anxiety over my choices, Dr. Watson's surgical expertise and protocol has made my cataract removal experience almost relaxing. Thank you, Dr. Watson! You are not only an amazing surgeon but a beautiful soul!

Dr. Caroline Watson was amazing and very informative and made me feel super comfortable especially while being pregnant. Melissa the front desk host was sweet and helpful with my insurance and Jennifer was very helpful in explaining everything before Dr. Watson came! The office is beautiful as well and their office is inside the Range Building in case the GPS confuses you! I appreciate them for making me feel safe and giving me a good experience. 10/10 recommend!

I was referred to Dr. Watson by a local doctor in Florence, AL because the local cataract surgeon was backed up due to a retirement of a fellow doctor. This worked out really well! I was able to see Dr. Watson almost a month earlier than I could have seen the local surgeon and my surgery was scheduled about 3 months earlier than the first available time for the local surgeon. The initial visit to Dr. Watson's office set the tone for all the remaing visits and surgeries. I was was actually called back EARLY for my first appointment. I was, in fact, still filling out the normal background paperwork. I was examined by multiple workers prior to actually seeing Dr. Watson and they were all very thorough, helpful, and professional. Dr. Watson was the same. She made me feel completely at ease by explaining the procedures. The friendly office workers then made necessary appointments at the Laser Eye Surgery Center and thoroughly explained the timetable for preparation for the actual surgeries. I was given a complete and accurate explanation of the billing for the surgeries as well. I really appreciated the professionalism of all at the office. I visited the actual office three times and was promptly sent back early every time! As for the surgery itself, I just got home from having the second cataract surgery on back to back days after the first. Both surgeries went off without any problems. The first eye has cleared up a lot and I'm expecting the same results for my second eye. This may have been the best experience I have ever had at a doctor's office and I highly recommend Dr. Watson and the staff at Alabama Vision Center!

Dr. Watson took one look and tried to push IPL on me. Zero help with my issue, just collected insurance payment and a $50 co-pay, and said to do it again in two weeks (pass). Turned out to be bacterial and fungal. Quickly diagnosed by another doctor.

Wonderful facility with modern technology, and with most pleasant and caring personnel. Dr. Watson advised me against cataract surgery at this time, which I think was admirable, given that that is her bread and butter. I highly recommend!

Dr Watson and Dr Kane are amazing. As is the whole practice. And when you walk into the place it's so pretty and relaxing! And the girls up front will do anything they can to help you.
