Dr. R. Keith Stevens, MD

We moved to Guntersville about 6yrs ago. Found an eye doctor here but was very disappointed in our care and lack of correctly prescribing for our issues. My late parent's used a doctor here in Huntsville but he moved. "Cassandra" is who I spoke to on the phone and loved her dearly! She put us with Dr. R. Keith Stevens, of whom we just saw today! We've never had a better nor thorough eye exam! We love Dr. Keith Stevens! Hubby really liked him. I just was in shock of how sweet and personal he was. The man knows his stuff! Hubby got new prescription. I got a surgery consultation with Dr. Frederick for cataract surgery. If he'd been any other doc, he'd probably put me in glasses and the money would've been wasted. He said glasses won't help me. Well... let me tell you, I know for a fact we're in good hands! If Dr. Frederick is half as good as Dr. Stevens, I'm over the moon excited! Scared but excited! I just cannot recommend this man enough! We LOVE Dr. Stevens and my tech was Wesley. That young man is just amazing and I just love him to pieces! We are throughly pleased with our first visit with Dr. Stevens! The ladies at the desk are so sweet! God bless them all! I feel like I can finally breathe a sigh of relief because finding a new doctor is one of the most stressful things anyone can do. And I'm picky! Whew! Merry Christmas and may the New Year be amazing for everyone!

Dr. Stevens is an amazing physician. Kind, caring, knowledgeable. Would recommend him and the Eye Center to anyone, fantastic experience!

Don't know if Dr Stevens is a great doctor or not but his staff is surely rude and uncooperative. It is impossible to get a new patient appointment without "records" and the staff is totally unwilling to assist in the records transfer. When I asked for an appointment with one of the groups general ophthalmologists in order to get a "referral' to Dr. Steven's I was refused that also. When I asked to speak to the office manager I was always told she wasn't there and my messages to her were never returned. After repeatedly calling asking about the status of my records transfer or their assistance in getting them the office manager "Tammy" was suddenly there and called me back.. She told me I was rude and to go find another doctor. That turned out to be great advice and well deserving of a one star review. Otherwise I would have to give a zero star review.

Dr. Stevens is fantastic, as well as Shaina! He's caring, EXTREMELY knowledgeable and thorough in his exams, and detailed in his notes. I was very worried about having to drive to Nashville or Birmingham for a good specialist when I originally relocated to Huntsville, but I was pleasantly surprised to find such an exceptional glaucoma specialist in this small city.

I'm very thankful to have Dr. Stevens as my ophthalmologist. Kind, patient, extremely knowledgeable, and concerned for his patients. His staff has always been great, as well!

Dr. Stevens is the consummate professional! Precise, current and his use of state of the art equipment gives him the edge in delivering superb medical service.

Dr. Stevens and his staff are top notch. Had a great experience dealing win him. Super professional and super nice!
