The doctor and the her assistant We're both extremely nice. The doctor had patience to try several contacts to get the right bifocal contact for me. I can't recommend them enough. Excellent service thank you so much.

The eye doctor was amazing. She was kind, informative, and professional. However, when it was time to buy the lenses, I said I wanted the lowest cost lenses and I was presented with polycarbonate ones. When I questioned why the price was much higher than I was told the range would be over the phone, may have been a separate associate because I called twice, I was told that wasn't true. After a long awkward silence I was then shown the cheaper option of plastic lenses. Although she was polite about it, I felt as though I was being deceived after I had made it very clear I wanted to purchase basic lenses. Originally, my plan was to come back at a later date to purchase more lenses for my frames but due to this encounter, I don't believe I will be doing so. It left me with a negative feeling about the situation. It was the fact that when I brought up the matter, I was still being lead to believe there was no cheaper option until the silence for about 15 seconds got really weird and uncomfortable. I was about to just get up and walk out, then, I was offered the cheaper lenses. I get that it is a business, but I was clear about my intentions of not spending a lot of money on this visit but felt as though there was an attempt to force me into something I didn't want. I felt there was professionalism, but not on the level I expected considering how kind everyone was. The lady at the register is completely amazing. She was a pleasure to converse with about the glasses and my visit there. In the end, no one was rude, I want to make that clear. I could just be crazy and read the room wrong, this was just my perspective.

I recently broke a pair of my glasses and lost my backup pair. My prescription was out of date, but I desperately needed glasses that day as I get terrible headaches without them. Luminous Eyecare in Pkwy Place Mall got me in super quickly after work, and I was able to leave with glasses that night! Jordan, Sonia, and Jan were phenomenal. They were so helpful throughout the process and made my visit seamless. I was in and out within a little over an hour! I will definitely use them going forward for my family's eye care.

[9/29/2025] * Location was very neat & organized, appointments can be created online, & all of the staff are very helpful, knowledgeable, and patient. Felt like a very safe and calm environment. * Personally thought it was great that the frames were simply organized by Manufacturer, without 'gender market separation' * They also have one of the Nikon Retina Stations, so for ~$35 you can forgo the dilation process, but still get a thorough exam. (Reminder that they're located inside the Parkway Place Mall > Floor 1 > #193 "Lens Crafters" )

My experience at Luminous Eye Care was excellent. Every staff member I interacted with was professional, friendly, and attentive. The entire process was smooth, and it was the fastest and most efficient eye exam I've ever had. I highly recommend Eye Max to anyone looking for quality care and great service.

Dr. Shannon Marr Walker provided excellent care, highly recommend. I would have given 5 stars; however, her assistant provided less than excellent service.

Optometrist was great! Eye exam was fast on time and professional. Sales person was horrible tried to buy a pair of meta glasses and she couldn't figure out to even use her tablet. Decided to not order glasses at that location and will go to another.

Dr. Marr-Walker is very professional and does an awesome job. I've never gotten a better pair of glasses anywhere else.
