Olde Towne Optical

Most irritable,& difficult if you try to get help after you buy from them. The tips over my ear had a circular shape which hurt even after many adjustments. They wouldn't hurt right away but after a day of wearing them, I would get a headache. The lenses were perfect! Best I ever had. But when I asked to send them back the reply was "what do you want done? Just chop them off!" I said " gee I don't know. Could they could just file or melt. I don't really know what they will do." So I picked them up today and I was told they were wet and not to wear them for a while. So after drying they were rough with little spikes like roughness where the round circle was! Honestly, it was so unprofessional.

They tried to make the glasses right and sent them out to help remake the bifocal. Bifocals are still wrong and the frame fits weird. Discovered the right stem looked like it was broken when sent out to remake the lenses by the outside optical shop they contracted. Seems they tried to glue it back on. The difference is clear between left and right joints on the frame. Whoever polished the lenses, they now create a weird reflection and I can't wear them while on the computer. Should have went to Costco.

My experience with Tina at Olde Towne Optical was exceptional. She expertly guided me through the process of picking out glasses, offering valuable advice and attentive service every step of the way. I absolutely LOVE Old Town Optical! It is the only place I get my glasses/sunglasses now and its the only place we trust with our VSP. Tina will do everything she can to get you the best price and do what's best for you. If your prescription will not work with a certain frame you like she will inform you and not let you waste your hard earned money. I have followed Tina for the last 10 years for all of my glasses needs and will continue to do so! she has over 20 years of optician experience and is AMAZING! If you need a new place to go this is it!

I HIGHLY recommend that you ask A LOT of questions BEFORE you order anything from Olde Towne Optical. Every time I have been there, Tina was the only person working, so you will feel rushed through the process of selecting new eyeglasses. They only seem to be interested in getting to the next customer. I failed to ask enough questions because I felt rushed by Tina, and this has cost me greatly. And, she can be rude when analyzing your prescription. Her exact words when she was attempting to 'help' me were, "You have a really bad stigmatism in your left eye." I'm not sure if she is always this belittling to customers, but it certainly did not make me feel great. Furthermore, it is NOT completely TRUE that Olde Towne Optical will "re-make" your glasses at no cost if you need a new prescription in the next 100 days. The written "guarantee" (sitting on Tina's desk) states that they will "do everything possible to make sure that you are happy with your purchase". But, this is completely unenforceable, and they DO NOT stand by this statement, so do not be duped. Tina will NOT accept accountability for failing to explain everything UP FRONT on your first visit when rushing you through the process, and she then will charge you EXTRA when you attempt to fix previous issues. I have foolishly purchased TWO pairs of glasses that are 100% WORTHLESS to me and NEITHER pair helps me see correctly. BUYER BEWARE: Olde Towne Optical is not a "locally-owned business". Tina will hide behind a rehearsed "corporate policy" statement as she charges you extra money.

Tina has done an ABSOLUTE great job helping me out with my glasses. Service has always been quick and efficient and professional every single time I've came. She goes above and beyond to make sure you save the biggest buck and still do great on quality !

Great Service. Tina is so patient and informative. She educated me about my prescription and was able to fit me in the right frames. She also fixed a pair of my favorite glasses, when I thought they couldn't be fixed. .
