I cant say enough good things about this practice. From the front desk to all of the staff. Dr. Persaud explains every step so you can understand every issue you have. I couldn't ask for better care. I have been fortunate enough to form some great friendships here.

I have had excellent experiences with the physicians at Retina Specialists of North Alabama. My primary doctor is Dr. Byrne who has been exceptionally knowledgeable and able to communicate complex concepts clearly. He has been kind and responsive. I recently had an emergency call and visit on a weekend with the on call doctor, Dr. Saini, who made me feel my concerns were valid. He was so kind and understanding on a Saturday visit. My mind was put at ease. He was equally compassionate on the follow up visit. The office staff have been helpful and pleasant as well. I couldn't be more pleased with all of my experiences. I have recommended them to friends who have all expressed the same quality of experience. Thank you Retina Specialists of North Alabama!

Dr. Tarek Persaud is an expert working in a very complex medical specialty. He carefully and patiently explains your diagnosis and treatment to you in terms that you can easily understand. Above all, he is a doctor who is genuinely interested in helping people, a rarity in these times. I highly recommend.

We actually went to the scottsboro location to see Dr Reed. Very impressed with Dr Reed and the staff there at the scottsboro location.

Dr. Saini and his team worked very hard to restore and preserve my sight. A Dr. is on call after hours, weekends, holidays, and nights. They encouraged me to call with questions and concerns. When I did have to call after hours my call was returned almost immediately by Dr. Saini. Visits were fast, which I appreciated. They see as many patients as they can. Appointments are scheduled timely. I never had to wait when I need to be seen. Dr. Saini was direct and did not beat around the bush about my condition. I was scared and very close to losing my vision. I am a working parent. My life and the lives of my children would have been damaged greatly if that happened. Dr. Saini restored my vision and changed the trajectory our lives could have taken. The treatment was not pleasant and I dreaded it. However, it worked and I will be eternally grateful. Thank you Dr. Saini and team! I definitely recommend. Just trust their process, follow their instructions, and pray. It works.

Dr. Saini and his wonderful team have always been respectful, caring, and LISTENED to my concerns and questions regarding my care . During a particularly scary time, when a hematoma blocked my vision in one eye , they worked me in same day, to take care of the time sensitive matter and worked diligently to preserve my sight . I wouldn't trust my Care to anyone else. If you have to wait... well it may be you one day that has an emergency and on that day you will be greatful for the time and consideration they show to you and your sight. I certainly was and it changed my perspective on wait times completely.
