Wow I wish I found this place years ago! I was concerned after my recent cornea surgery, that I had been left worse off than before the surgery. It took a poor fitting and a referral to Dr. Brantley for me to receive the best care I have had with this condition since first being diagnosed in 2009. Dr. Brantley took the time to first, care for my injury the previous contact gave me and then begin the next phase of the process which was fitting and making me whole again! He was thorough and made me feel comfortable. He's easy to speak with and made me feel a thousand times better when I left his office. I cannot say enough words of the care Dr. Brantley provides and the way he restored faith back into patient care for me. I truly do appreciate him beyond words.Thank you.

After years of issues with worsening ghosting and double vision and no luck correcting with traditional soft lenses, I was referred to Dr. Brantley, who immediately determined that I had keratoconus and started the process to fit me with custom scleral lenses to correct my issues with irregular corneas and external astigmatism. While I experienced immediate improvement, he continued to fine tune the fit and acuity on each eye over the course of many follow-up visits. Dr. Brantley was able to diagnose that I had an extremely rare case of internal astigmatism and design a solution for that issue as well. My vision is now the best it has been in over 20 years. The Alabama Cornea Care Center is the exact opposite of a corporate eye care experience. Dr. Brantley has taken the time and care to understand my very unique needs and I can now get back to enjoying computer and music tasks with much more ease.

I cannot say enough about how blessed I am to have found Dr. Brantley and Alabama Cornea Care!! I went for several years with my sight distorted wearing glasses and contacts that would not correct my vision. He is a God send and I will forever be thankful for his patience and care to get me seeing again. I have severe keratoconus in my left eye and some in my right eye as well. I was very discouraged going from place to place and feeling like no one would ever be able to help me. Thank you so much Dr. Brantley for your amazing care - you are truly the best!

I have been to multiple eye doctors over the years and was always disappointed. The care I received from Dr. Brantley has been amazing. His patient, person-focused approach discovered a few uncommon underlying issues that all my other doctors missed. I truly thought I would never wear contacts due to medical and fit issues, but he proved me wrong. He is a great person and an amazing doctor, highly recommend!

Dr. Brantley is hands-down the finest eye doctor I've been to. I visited 7 doctors around the country and he is the first to actually diagnose my eyesight issues and provide effective treatment. He is personable and 100% engaged with his patients. Highly recommended!

Dr. Brantley is a fantastic person, let alone a fantastic Doctor and Specialist. For over 20 years, I dealt with the diagnosis of Keratoconus, a degenerative corneal disease that had me go blind (20/450!) in both eyes and struggle through surgery after surgery and 100s of lenses to try to bring back my vision. I gave up on ever seeing again (from 2018 to 2021) until I randomly decided to do some research and delightedly found Dr. Brantley. I called the office and the Doc answered! (This is how much he cares and takes seriously the gift he has for helping others!). We spoke, I had my 200 page medical history records sent to him for review and Doc took me on as a patient. WELL, our first visit was fantastic. As I mentioned, Doctor Brantley is a wonderful human being that truly cares for others. Doc did some initial tests and measurements, then had me come back a few days later after having interpreted the results. TURNS OUT, I've been incorrectly diagnosed and treated for the last 20+ years with Keratoconus when in reality, I have PMD (Pellucid Marginal Degeneration of the cornea)! After Doctor Brantley found the correct root cause of my problems, he quickly found THE solution in using highly specialized scleral lenses that restored my vision to 20/15! I was blind before I met the Doc, and within about 1.5 weeks, I could see my wife and children clearly for the first time EVER. Doctor Brantley is an INCREDIBLE person, doctor, and artist with what he does and I am so grateful to have found him and have had him restore my vision and bless me with a better quality of life than I've dealt with for the last 20+ years. Dr. Brantley has changed my life! I was having vision problems for years and it just kept getting worse. I was undiagnosed all the way until a couple of years ago. Dr. Brantley has made me feel confident and not scared of keratoconus. He has made my vision a whole lot better, and I am even able to drive a school bus! Thank you!
