If I could give zero stars I definitely would... been going to the Athens office for 10 years. Recently swapped to Madison on county line road. They suck... I kept being told in January to give my glasses time for my eyes to adjust to them. They have made my eyes worse and now I'm being told I only had 30 days to come back.. the woman that actually does the fitting is rude.. they need to do better...

I visited the clinic today for my yearly exam and was surprised by unexpected charges at checkout. I understand having a copay, but I was charged $40 for a refraction (so I could purchase contacts in the future) even though I don't wear or purchase contacts. I was also billed $39 for retinal imaging, which I was never told carried an extra cost. During my appointment I was simply told what to do, without being informed these services would add additional charges. I feel patients should be made fully aware of optional services and costs upfront so they can make an informed decision before being billed.

First time coming to this eye facility. Hopefully more to come. Had a great time, was treated as a patient and was taken care of.
** Only thing keeping this from a 5 star experience was, I showed up at 950 for a 1015 appointment. I was seen by "triage" at 1035. Then was taken back to a room to see the doctor at 1115.
It's like this when my son is seen as well, so this isnt a stand-alone occurrence. Might there be a reason for this pathway?
