Today I go into the office to have my plugs replaced,Mind you, I have been seeing this eye Doc for over three years and spent Well over $5000 in that time. I take my children and my family to saud eye doctor. They have me wait in the room for over an hour. And then come in and tell me that I still owe them $40 from back in August and that I will need to pay that plus the copayment, if I want the doctor to see me. To which I respondYes, that's fine. But I've been waiting an hour You could have just asked me for the money when I walked in. I've literally been a patient for more than 3 years. My eyes are burning and hurting from my dry eye problem. I'm there to get help and they want to treat somebody who's been with them for that long and spend that much money So poorly. They left me sitting there in pain for over an hour. While they researched a $40 copay. I have swiped my card multiple times for over $500 at this office. I'm not worried about $40. The fact that they let me sit there in pain for over an hour. And didn't even tell me that that's what was going on is a huge problem. The doc looked at me and said if your ready to pay this i can see you now. Keep in mind I've not received a bill or a phone call and I've been back to the office multiple times to have my son's glasses repaired and replaced.
UPDATE: I called to talk with office manager and conveniently, she's out of the office for the next week. However, a customer service representative called me in regards to the situation, she credited my account. The money owed and gave me $50, and eye care bucks towards a future visit. I explained that after the doctors inappropriate behavior I would not be returning.
Update: customer relations followed up to say the manager will be reaching out in regards to the docs inappropriate behavior and too apologize. I explained that too much occurred and trust has been broken. We will not be back. This doctor is just mean and highly inappropriate.
UPDATE: I continue to reciev calls and emails from this office, I have asked them to stop. They called last week to see if I would be willing to see a different doctor in thier office. What part of I dont want to be your patient any longer do they not understand.
Use to go here but no more. Find the staff working the front desk to be one of the most unfriendly Ive ever seen. Walk in late my fault had to reschedule. I'm told I have an appointment tomorrow. Somewhat my fault not checking my text message I show up tomorrow when I am told no its tomorrow. Great. So I show up tomorrow again walk in how long is the wait. There are people ahead of you I don't know how long the wait is. Canceled the appointment. You would think they would ask can we reschedule no simple ok your canceled. End of story. What they use to be versus what they have now is night and day difference. Go to lens crafters where you are always greeted professionally so far. And they actually take the time to help you and they research best deals for you.
If I could give zero stars I would. The optometrist is super rude and unhelpful. I explained that the contacts he put me in were blurry and he said well it's hard to get your vision 100%. Uhh obviously this should tell you my vision has changed. I have never had an issue with blurry contacts before. I have been wearing contacts for YEARS. Also I had mentioned having issues with eye aches and I got no advice on this. I went to order contacts and the girl ordered me the wrong kind. This is probably not her fault but the doctors as he gave her the slip and what to order. I used to go here every year but WILL NOT be going back for my upcoming eye exam. This place has gone downhill EXTREMELY fast.
The exam itself was okay. I miss Dr. Cecil. The checkout process was ridiculous. Waited more than 40 minutes to see the one person who could handle the checkout. All I needed to do was pay for the exam. Didn't need to select glasses or order anything. In the meantime, there were 2 other workers at their desks on their cell phones. The workers need to be trained to multi-task.

After 15+ years of being a patient at MyEyeDr (formerly Schaeffer's), I can honestly say this was the most exceptional customer service experience I've ever had -- I had to leave a review!
I recently moved to the area and was a little skeptical about visiting a new location, but from the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed.
Tony greeted me with the biggest smile, even while juggling a busy front desk. She was incredibly helpful with retrieving the documents I needed and made the check-in process smooth and stress-free.
Katie assisted with my imaging and was just as warm and welcoming. Her positive attitude made the experience even better.
Dr. Penny IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST! Even though he was filling in for another doctor, he took his time, explained everything in plain English (thank you! ), and truly made me feel heard about the concerns I had with my eyes. That level of care means everything.
And Tessa!!! Her energy is AMAZING She went above and beyond to help me stay within my budget for both glasses and contacts -- and actually saved me money! She was also incredibly patient and understanding with my son during my little parenting moments, which I truly appreciated.
With customer service these days, you never know what to expect -- but this experience exceeded every expectation. Absolutely the best!

Attentive and friendly. The doctors are great about explaining things and addressing concerns thoroughly. I've never had such friendly assistance when picking out glasses before. I felt very listened to and welcome, and they even noticed my current glasses were loose and offered to adjust them without me asking.
I have been a client for about four or five years. Last year I needed my nose pads replaced and I walked in. They did not ask me if I was a client or not and willingly replaced my nose pads, were so helpful, gave me bigger more comfortable ones, I was so appreciative. Thought they were super nice. Fast forward, after my last appointment this year, I ordered new glasses from an online order through my insurance company. After I received them, I wanted to change out the nose pads, so I went to my eye doctor thinking they would be so helpful. this time they asked where I got the glasses from and were not helpful at all. Did not replace my nose pads. It was so disappointing.
I would have given 5 stars for my 1st appointment. The doc was excellent, as was the lady who helped me choose glasses. When I went back to pick the glasses up, I was looked over by a lady who took another person before me, even though I had been standing there waiting. When I spoke up, the lady at the receptionist desk told the other one I was next. When she gave me my glasses, she didn't ask how they feel, didn't give me a chance to look in the mirror or to take a seat. She went right on to the next person. Now, I have to take my time to go back and have these glasses adjusted. Also, no one explained if I have a warranty or even if I wanted one. I was not pleased and if it wasn't for the doctor, I would have given 1 start.
