Because of her incompetence my treatment was delayed and I have lost vision. She missed a very serious nerve swelling in the first appt., and then in the second appt she looked back at the Images from first and saw her mistake. She diagnosed me with a brain tumor, and sent me to an ER, instead of doing a slit lamp or advising a visit to retinal specialists. She missed retinal necrosis in my eye and I will forever be crippled because of her lack of knowledge. Mind you she never forgets to call herself DOCTOR or to charge you for the visit. Absolute neglect.

I do not recommend this eye doctor or clinic. First experience, she failed to get my glasses and contact prescription correct. Then today, I went to a new appointment scheduled and drove in from out of town. I was told when I arrived to my appointment, that she could do the exam for glasses but was not comfortable doing the gas perm contact lense fitting. It shows complete incompetence. Nobody called me to inform me of this and said I could do the exam but then was told the doctor changed her mind and I should find somewhere else to reestablish for my entire prescription needs. Unbelievable. The staff was rude and I would not recommend going here. They could not care less for causing such a major inconvenience and lack of patient care. Be warned.

She is always so sweet and gentle and explains everything. She has been my family's optometrist for years and I've had nothing but positive experiences.

She even allows my fiance to ask questions and she always answers them. I do wish there was someone on call tho for weekends to answer questions.

Incompetent. Lacks equipment, isn't an ophthalmologist, acts "cold shoulder", rather than caring. Disappointing experience.

She discriminates against her staff. She is beyond rude and talks down to her employees. She has employees walking on egg shells scared to upset her or approach her. She just fired a member who has been there for over 10years. She has also broken AK labor laws. Do not support a selfcentered person who operates her establishment in this manor.

Dr Yu is very knowledgeable, extremely thorough, pleasant, calm, and professional. She patiently answers questions, and our entire family loves her!
