My family and I had eye exams at Capstone Eye Clinic and from friendly, competent staff and practitioners to modern optometric equipment, the process was comprehensive and professional. The optical department and its huge inventory of glasses and brands was super convenient. We all purchased glasses. My 15 year old is particularly happy to have some cool eye-ware.

I had a disappointing experience with Dr. Stanley. He came across as rushed, impatient, and a bit aggressive, which made it hard for me to ask questions or feel comfortable during my visit. I left feeling emotional and frustrated, like my concerns weren't taken seriously.
After reading other reviews, I saw that others had similar experiences, which sadly reassured me that it wasn't just me. This was a vulnerable situation, and I expected more compassion.
On a positive note, the front desk staff were very kind and welcoming. Dr. Stanley did provide a few tips for at-home care and gave me a referral, which I appreciated. Still, I won't be returning and hope future patients are treated with more empathy and respect.

The folks at the front desk were friendly and professional. Dr Stanley is knowledgeable and worked with me to find a prescription that worked for my eyes. I felt a bit rushed by him and when I had difficulty verbalizing my concerns for my vision, he seemed a bit frustrated with my pace of speech. My disability causes me to process and explain things slowly, and I was frustrated I wasn't able to fully explain myself because he honed in on one subject before I had finished. I already had lenses for work, but seeing up close and far away was becoming more difficult. We were able to get something figured for both prescriptions in the end, I just wish he was a bit more patient with me. The experience was uncomfortable but Dr. Stanley is knowledgeable in what he does. I will consider finding a different provider, or waiting some time before coming back.

My 5 year old son was very nervous about visiting the eye doctor for the first time today. Dr. Flanagan and all the staff were very supportive of my sons fears. They were amazing with him and made our experience wonderful. Also we were able to get his glasses same day.

I have been going to Capstone for my Eye needs and they staff is so friendly and knowledable. Scheduling is easy they aren't booked far in advance, the process to set up the appointment is quick too. The appointment altogether takes about 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on how long it takes you to pick out your glasses, if you are getting any. My daughter also gets her yearly eye exams here she is a teenager but even as a child they are great with kids so sweet they explain what they're doing before they do it making it easier for the child to understand what they're doing and why and or how.
