Dr. Charles Schaefer has a great eye care practice with a friendly, efficient staff and a clean, sanitized environment. They are very committed to our health & well being and I appreciate it. I also received a quick response to my initial call and was able to get an appointment quickly. That was a huge help to me and I feel better already. The doctor has a good sense of humor and you know that while he may be lighthearted he is very serious about your health and eye care done the right way. Thanks for the great care! Took my Mom here and at first thought Dr Schaffer was a good fit for us but after going there several times and my Mom telling him her eyes were not seeing well I changed my mind! He actually told her that he has a lot of patients that are a lot worse off and she should be happy with the way her eyes were. Really? My mom just wanted the best possible care and he wasn't delivering. I had a hard time making appointments and at one point said I would drive to their other office just to get her in sooner and I was told by his receptionist on the phone that he didn't have another office. What? When I told the Dr. that this was what I was told he basically called me a liar. That was our last visit and we won't be back.

Dr Charles Schaffer is an excellent diagnostician, provides outstanding care and follow up. He diagnosed my husband's wet macular degeneration early saving him from any loss of vision. Dr Schaffer has just done cataract surgery on both of my eyes. My sight is fantastic. I can see everything now clearer that I ever did with glasses which I wore from age 9. I highly recommend Dr Schaffer.

I am an Optical Technician in the UK and needed a copy of a prescription quickly for one of Dr. Schaffer's patients who had lost their glasses whilst travelling here. Dr. Schaffer and his team could not have been more courteous or helpful and acted quickly to supply me with the necessary information to make his patient up an emergency pair of eyeglasses.

I had two cataract surgeries performed by Dr. Schaffer in Dec. 2014 and Febr. 2015. The outcome was a 100% success. From the first evaluation through pre-op, surgery, and follow-up, Dr. Schaffer demonstrated top level skills and the best of patient care. His recommendations and guidance was solely focused on what would be the best outcome for me; he's a great listener and his patience with questions and concerns makes you feel special. Granted, the outcome is what ultimately matters, but the process was positive beyond anything I have experienced with a medical professional - that includes his staff. In addition, I don't think I ever had to wait more than 5 minutes at any one of my appointments. That is first class consideration for the patient. I recommend Dr. Charles Schaffer to anyone with ophthalmic needs.

Dr. Schaffer was able to see me within minutes of me being referred to his office by my primary Doctor. Dr Schaffer made me feel very comfortable and gave me some peace of mind when examing my eyes. I appreciate his prompt response to my Drs referral and the follow up calls to ensure I was ok. -Thank you

The doctor was more concerned about how I found out about his practice. I kept telling him that it was the eyelid that was hurting he says no this is dry eye and prescribe me to get $50 worth of dry eye treatment! Nothing has done any good that he is prescribed and the pain is still in the eyelid not a dry eye symptom. I'm having to go to another doctor to eliminate the fact that the pain is still in the eyelid and not the irritation of the eye

Person who made my appointment was incorrect with answer to my question regarding services. Doctor was unpersonable and unhelpful. The codes sent to my insurance were incorrect. Billing department is the same as office manager and she's only there for about four hours on Thursdays. An all-around failure.
