Southwestern Eye Center

First time experience was good. I didn't wait long. Staff was nice and helpful. The process was smooth and I was walked though each test. The Dr was nice and informative. I didn't feel pressure at all. I appreciate that the Dr even sent a nice letter to my eye dr that recommended me to Southwest Eye Center. I go back for a second appointment in a couple weeks. I hope that visit goes as smoothly as this one.

This is for optical department, the Dr's were great. I had a problem with reader glasses. When I picked up I couldn't read anything . I tried and just laughed. I was told where do you hold it ti read? I said no where. She got irritated. Basically saying you have to take. Very rude woman. I said no somewhere someone made a mistake. I said they dot work I don't want them. We went back and forth until someone came in and we decided to make another appointment. That was fine, however this person said we'll I was gone then. ? And the person I met was very confused on pricing. Well I had another appointment set with the Dr. I told her the problem. She was helpful saying she would make changes since buying a pair of ready I could read. Ok, so before I left I was told they don't make refunds. She said do you want me to change, I said yes because even if they don't work they aren't keeping the glasses I paid for. So I went to pick them up and the same woman was there. She looked and couldn't find. I haven't been here for a while so I don't know what's going on???I was told to check the next day, so I went, for some reason they were closed. This is long I know but my advise..use the Dr's, they are good. Buy your glasses from someone else! Seems Tamera and I experienced the same problem! Exactly! I really think I need a refund. The readers I got were $30 the ones front here were $220

Location is easily accessible. Staff is friendly, courteous and efficient. Doctor explained the process and listened to me. I look forward to improving my vision and returning to activities that I enjoy.

UPDATE: Optical Department Rating: When I was seen in the Optical Department things took a turn for the worse. The first problem was when I got a bill in spite of having paid the balance in full. On closer examination I was also charged a $135.00 frame upgrade that I was NOT informed of. Not only that but they were making progressive bifocals and I specifically asked for lined bifocals. I went in to tell them about the error and was told quite rudely that I would have to come in after they arrived so they could take the required measurements. Well, I went in for that today. Imagine my irritation to find that not only were the incorrect lenses ordered but they were made in the wrong frame! Everyone makes mistakes but come on! She acted irritated when I pointed that out. She was adamant that it was the right one but said it was okay for me to see IF I could see if I could find the right one. I did and she measured in the correct frame and said she would let me know when they come in, though she sounded very insincere. We shall see. I also heard her be extremely rude to others during my time in her office. Original post: Pleasant staff in the doctor's office, tech was very helpful. Dr Bluth is very relaxed, gentle, and patient. I can't say enough about them!

Dr. Brill is articulate, thorough and extremely knowledgable. I highly recommend her. The office's website and communication technology is a bit clunky. I had long wait times on the phone.

I had a form that I needed filled out and signed by Dr Bluth for the DMV to renew my license I dropped the form off to the front office and they said Dt Bluth was booked solid and they would call when it was ready I explained that if possible i would like to pick it up by 8am tomorrow since I had an appointment. Dr Bluth took the time out of his busy day to have my form signed and ready for pickup the next morning. Thank you Dt Bluth

Excellent customer service. Very knowledgeable and caring staff. I am so happy I went there. I had cataract surgery and now I can see! They made the whole experience a good one!

First visit, had an emergency eye problem that they were able to fit me in on short notice. Dr & staff were very attentive and professional. Got everything taken care of and meds ordered. I've been using another eye care service for years, and now I'm ready for this level of service.
