I had an amazing experience at Estrella Eye Care! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by Ms. Teresa, who guided me through all my initial eye tests with such kindness and professionalism. She's incredibly knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable every step of the way. Then I met Dr. Wan, hands down one of the best optometrists I've ever met. We had such a wonderful conversation -- he's a UCLA graduate, and since I'm also a UCLA alum, we instantly connected! He took his time explaining everything in detail, answered all my questions, and truly went above and beyond in making sure I understood every aspect of my eye health. His care and attention to detail are exceptional. I was also assisted by Ms. Melanie at the glasses and contacts section. She was fantastic -- patient, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about different frame styles and lens options. We had such a pleasant chat about travel, eyewear, and more. The facility itself is spotlessly clean, modern, and well-organized, with a wide variety of frames and lenses to choose from. The staff here genuinely care about their patients and make the entire experience enjoyable. If you're in Arizona and looking for a trustworthy, thorough, and friendly eye care center -- Estrella Eye Care is the place to go. They accept most insurances, have great amenities, and truly make you feel valued as a patient. This is officially my go-to eye care center from now on. Highly recommend!

Dr.Steven Wan saw me last minute for eye discomfort and it was a pleasure meeting him. The overall care, thoroughness and the level in which he educated me regarding my diagnosis was a 10/10. I had an immediate concern about my eyes and my current optometrist couldn't see me for 5 days so I began looking for a doctor who could see me that day. Estrella Mountain Eye Care was able to see me within 4 hours of calling. Dr Wan spent so much time testing and checking my eyes plus providing encouragement and comfort when I was nervous. I am so grateful for his eagerness to help me and the professionalism of this office. I will definitely be coming back in the future!

I'm new to Arizona, and needed a new optometrist for my annual check up. I called an office near to my home, unfortunately, in my opinion sounded rude. so I decided to look elsewhere. I looked at the comments for Estrella Mountain Eye Care and gave them a call. I decided to make an appointment with Dr. Stephen Wan after reviewing the doctor's reviews. Unlike many medical offices where appointment times are ballpark, this office was on schedule without any waiting. After the staff completed all the standard tests, I met with Dr Wan, his examination wasn't rushed, he took his time and was very thorough. He was friendly and professional. All in all I was very satisfied with the office staff, the support staff and Dr Wan.

I was seen today for my routine eye exam, and it was a great experience from start to finish. Dr. Wan was professional, attentive, friendly, and took the time to explain everything clearly as well as address any questions or concerns. It is evident that Dr. Wan truly cares about his patients. The staff were equally professional, friendly, and welcoming from the moment I walked in. It's refreshing to visit an office where you feel genuinely cared for and not just rushed through an appointment. Being in the medical profession, bedside manners is huge and Dr. Wan and staff far exceeded my expectations. Highly recommend for anyone looking for excellent eye care!

Eye exam on 06/24/25 was Great. Insurance coverage for one pair, purchase if a second pair. No call on glasses to be picked up. Had to call and find out one pair was in and second pair frame was back ordered. Asked to pick another frame and was told not possible. Months passed. Stop in during work and was standing in front of Bill. Informed him I was there to pick up pair and I had to get back to work. He wouldn't give me my glasses. Canceled payment for second pair, no glasses from Estrella eye care, contacted insurance to have charges reversed. Eye exam great. Bill no words
