I'm a nurse of 41 years so I am very critical of any healthcare provider. There's nothing negative I can say about Vision Wellness. From the time I walked in to the time I left the staff was friendly and very helpful. The exam was very conclusive. Dr. Borrego was pleasant and thorough. She noticed something on my eye that most other eye doctors either miss or don't mention. She took the time to explain things and allowed time to ask questions. Picking out glasses was easy. And we were informed about the potential pricing while picking. Things that were pricey other options that were similar and cheaper were provided. I would recommend Vision Wellness to anyone.

I absolutely love this office. The staff members are super friendly! I was a patient of Dr. Ambrose for years until about a year ago. I do miss him. I am now seeing Dr. H and he is awesome as well. Due to my Keratoconus it was extremely important for me to find a doctor who understands this condition and knows how to help treat it while keeping me in my soft contact lens as long as possible. I also have computer specs since I spend roughly 9 hrs daily in front of a computer and then use my progressive lens for driving or tv or any daily use. I definitely recommend checking them out!!

This was my second visit, and again it was great! Dr. Shannon Borrego gave me such an excellent explanation of one of my eye conditions. She is caring and a lovely person. The medical techs and staff are also very efficient. This particular office has a very nice atmosphere.

Bad experience overall. The doctor was not patient with my child, who has a disability. My child became nervous and moved around due to being asked repetitive questions, and the doctor appeared visibly frustrated. This was my child's first exam, and although my insurance confirmed they see children, the experience did not feel supportive or appropriate for a child with special needs.
When I asked if this was a good place for my child to be seen, the response felt dismissive. The office itself was clean and the rest of the staff was kind, but the provider lacked patience and understanding. I would not recommend this location for children with disabilities. A more specialized, child-friendly environment would likely provide a better experience.

He has gone above and beyond on numerous occasions to help me. His patience when trying to fit me with contact lenses was awesome. My most recent appointment was to recheck my prescription. He was thorough and spent time with me to make sure that we had the best prescription possible. Would highly recommend Vision Wellness.

This is the best Optometry Officer I've been to! The doctor was excellent and thorough and Front Desk receptionist was professional and polite The office is clean and offers glass frames of all different price points from low to more highly priced. It's affordable and feels like home each time I go.
