I had another appointment with Scott A. Glesmann, MD at Western Medical Eye Center, and once again, they exceeded expectations. Even though the office is always packed and running at a high volume, the staff is consistently professional, kind, caring, and extremely efficient. Dr. Glesmann has a tough, no-nonsense approach -- and that's exactly what you want in a doctor. He is incredibly thorough and doesn't miss a single detail. With probably 25 or more patients there, I waited no more than five minutes. That level of organization and precision speaks volumes about how well this practice is run. Truly top-tier care. Thank you to the entire team!

I had one of the best experiences here, from assistance with check-in, to Seth doing a complete intake to the Ophthalmologist who checked my eyes. Next week I'll be back to see the optician to see if glasses are needed. They were very busy but I was seen within 10 minutes of my time & got in a timely manner. I recommend them highly!

My name is Victor Goodman currently residing in Bullhead City. I called this facility yesterday because I suddenly lost full vision in my left eye. I did leave a message and my phone call was returned. I told the girl exactly what happened and gave her all my Atena Medicare Insurance information. She informed me that a referral from my primary care provider would be needed I told her that my insurance company when I contacted them told me that a referral is not needed just pay the 30.00 co-pay. Her response was that and I quote we have lost to much money in the past because the insurance company has declined there bill. I said please call them I can't see. She refused. So I called Mohave Eye Center and they took insurance over the phone had me in within 4 hrs. Mohave Eye Center already has me scheduled for a retina specialist in Vegas for an ultrasound. Stay away from Western to lose business especially on an emergency all She had to do was make a phone call. Well luckily for me she didn't local residents beware

My husband remembers this place as a once outstanding great place. Today we called oh my God we just recently moved back to bullhead. The girl communication skills seriously needed improvement had to give my name address and policy number numerous times.she could not provide me a answer on simple question. Wow it baffled my husband on how she was hired the quality of qualified individuals who work there and we choose to go to someplace else. Unqualified seem to be the normal

I have been coming to WMEC since at least 2012. I have been treated for bleeding inside my left eye and the injections STOPPED the bleeding. I also had an issue later with my right eye, went immediately to emergency at KRMC emergency room. They had no eye doctor available, so they put a call out to WMEC my eye doctors office. This was on a Friday, Dr. Schickner immediately called back and I spoke with him. He met with me and gave me an immediate referral to see the retinal specialists that at that time came to Kingman from Phoenix. This quick action by Dr. Schickner helped save my right eye, my retina was trying to detach. So all I can tell you is that Dr. Scott Glessman my primary eye doctor and Dr. Schickner have always provided Top Notch service to me for over 13 years! It's thanks to them that I still have the best vision possible! I would not hesitate to recommend either doctor or their facilities. They are still number 1 for eye care as far as I am concerned in 2025.

Horrific experience. Avoid this clinic at all costs. We were walked back to the office to wait for the doctor after the initial exam by the tech/ nurse. On the way to the office we walked past the doctor who would be coming in to complete my daughter's exam. He was slouched across two chairs with a miserable look on his face. He walked in after we had been seated in the room for a while, he didn't introduce himself, he immediately handed my daughter the eye cover and shut off the lights to start the exam. He was curt, impatient and not even remotely thorough. My daughter and I go annually to get our eyes checked and we are very familiar with the normal process. His exam in total was less than a minute. I asked for the exam to be completed again because three separate times my daughter advised that none of the settings he tried for her glasses using the machine worked and she was unable to see anything. He advised that he did a thorough job, she just needs a small prescription and moved us quickly along to the front. I wasn't made aware at any point before scheduling, or leading up to the appointment that the clinic did not have glasses on site and we would need to take the prescription somewhere else to get glasses. Once the appointment was over I was handed a prescription and told to come back in a year. I had to ask about glasses and was then advised where to go. Insurance covers the exam and the cost of the glasses when completed in the same appointment. I took the prescription to Sam's Club (where I had to pay $250 out of pocket for her glasses) We received the glasses and they were not the correct prescription, not even remotely close. I scheduled an exam through Sam's club and they were thorough, provided exceptional service and the prescription was perfect.

I have been seen at this office for several years and staff is always friendly. I recently had an exam and Dr Glesmann noticed something he was concerned about and ordered a different test. After reading the results he showed me some bleeding in the back of my eyes and discussed future treatments of injections in my eyes. In addition to this new problem I had cataracts and was scheduled for cataract surgery. My surgery was scheduled right away and I requested if any sooner appointments open up please give me a call. Luckily for me the next week it opened up & scheduler did as promised and called me. I have had both eyes surgery completed and it was a great experience from beginning to end! The best part my vision is back to my younger years! I would recommend this office for any eye issues you might have.

Do not come to this place. Where do I start. Well a while back I was seeing Dr aschickner and I talked to him about some concerns I had about an illness I have messing with my cataract surgery, he joked about it. So I switched to Dr Glessman. He was never helpful, seemed like he didn't want to answer questions.Also they told me I couldn't come back after I complained to them about the way I was treated. A supervisor told me she heard my side. But she couldn't have because I never actually got to tell her. I only left her a voicemail which I couldn't get it all on it, and I told another supervisor but that's different than being able to tell the supervisor herself.She also told that she believed her staff only because she's been with them awhile. She also said it was because I've had a number of issues. But that was only about the third complaint I had in about 2yrs.So they expect you to take their abuse and not complain about it
